After I have downloaded open office I go to unpack and I get an error message-This package requires a newer version of the Windows Installer and do I want to update. I click Yes and another message comes up - The specified service already exists and I click OK. The next error is -Setup was unable to find the file. I have Windows 98 verison. How can I finish unpacking?

I have downloaded Open office 2.0.1(with JRE), but cannot open it. When I try to open, it asks what program to open with. I am running on Windows XP. This problem has not occurred with previous versions of Open Office I have downloaded. Thanks.

[users] Unpacking Error States That a Newer Version of the Windows Installer is Required
I am using Windows 98 Second Edition. When unpacking Open.Office.Org 2.0 files, there is an error message stating that a newer version of the Windows Installer is required, and asking Do you want to install the newer version? When I respond yes, I get the message, Service already available. If I respond No the installation is cancelled.
