Actually, I did an update, which downloaded 344 packages, but would not
install any of them, complaining about a missing public key:

Last few lines of yum upgrade output:

package is: yum-utils-4.0.24-4.vl9.noarch

is: zip-3.0-33.vl9.x86_64

The downloaded packages were saved in cache until the next successful
transaction.
You can remove cached packages by executing 'yum clean packages'.

I'm curious as well.

I've downloaded an openvz9 image and have been testing with it, but the
kernel is still the one from February.

Hope to see some updates soon.

[Users] OpenVZ 9 Status

2022-11-30 Thread Jonathan Wright

Hi,

As a followup to Maik's announcement here back in February
(https://lists.openvz.org/pipermail/users/2022-February/008175.html) I'm
wondering about the status of OpenVZ 9.  There appear to have been no
new builds or packages published to the repositories since those initial
uploads.  I would've at least expected a rebuild against RHEL's new
sources after the 9.0 GA.

I'm hoping that OpenVZ 9 doesn't have the same fate as 8 - getting an
Alpha release and never making it past that :)
