While I've seen lxc containers mysteriously hang, suffer bit rot, or self destruct, the openvz containers have been solid.
One of my OVZ-7 servers had an old centos 7 container that I used for testing haproxy, that I'd turned off in 2019. I vgmigrated it to a new OVZ-9 test machine, started it, and it worked just like it hadn't been turned off for 4 years. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the production release of OVZ 9 jake
