Great! I hoped re-running engine-config yesterday because I was updating

We are happy to announce this has been fixed in Beta2 repository.
You can install and try it out.

We will also issue a fix for 3.4.3 for users that are using stable release.

This is now updated and fixed in 3.4.3 as well.

ok, i now removed the nodes and added them again. Same FQDN. I still get
Start SPM Task failed - result: cleanSuccess, message:
VDSGenericException: VDSErrorException: Failed to HSMGetTaskStatusVDS,
error = Cannot acquire host id, code = 661

I also got some error.

Now whats the deal with that host id?

Can somone please point me to the way how to debug this instead of pressing
some remove and add buttons?

Does someone really know how ovirt works under the hood?

Re: [ovirt-users] Kernel panic for live images

I've (tentatively) confirmed this as an issue with the CentOS IRC
channel - that images need to be dd'd not written with tools, meaning
that this portion of the wiki is irrelevant:

(I'm in the process of migrating off Ubuntu/Debian/.deb for my
desktop/infrastructure to RPM's - oVirt being a crucial 1st step)
Initially I suspected fault RAM (since it;s the only aspect of kernel
panics I can actually do something about without chucking out my whole
box), but new RAM a new host makes no difference.

The resolution seems to be to do it by hand - dd.

Will try this report back.

Did you try to follow Sahina's advice?

qemu-to-gluster communication goes on top the IP that you mount.
However, without hacks, inter-gluster communication uses FQDN of hosts,
which most commonly resolves to the management network.

From the output of your gluster volume info , it looks like you have
used IP address (43.25...) to peer probe the hosts? If you add the host
from oVirt, for gluster to be able to use separate network for
glusterd-glusterd communication, you will need to use FQDN while adding the
host, and workaround as mentioned in http://lists.ovirt.org/
