Re: [ovirt-users] ?==?utf-8?q? ?==?utf-8?q? ?= Error "Did not connect host to storage domain because connection for connectionId is null" in ovirt 4.
"why you lost it?" Good question. We migrated from 4.0 to 4.1 last week. After the migration, I tried to reimport oVirt guest tools iso (with engine-iso-uploader) but it failed with : ERROR: Fault reason is "Operation Failed". Fault detail is "Entity not found: Storage server connection: id=b3011e5b-552e-4393-a758-ac1e35648ab1". HTTP response code is 404. So I found the missing connection was related to a particular storage domain. I don't know when this connection was lost as the problem was not visible (the storage was running "fine" until I disabled it). Not sure if the migration caused it or something prior to it. [ovirt-users] ovirt 4.0.4?==?utf-8?q? : unable to upload images
We have a setup with ovirt 4.0.4 (hosted engine) and I try to import a Ubuntu qcow cloud image. When I try to import, it stops with the error 'Unable to upload image to disk ... due to a network error. Make sure ovirt-imageio-proxy service is installed and configured, and ovirt-engine's certificate is registered as a valid CA in the browser'. The ovirt-imageio-proxy service is running on the engine. No errors in the log (just a mention that the service has started up). I also imported the server CA in my browser (Firefox 49 on Ubuntu). ___ Users mailing list Users@ovirt.org http://lists.ovirt.org/mailman/listinfo/users

I did a complete reinstall of ovirt 4.0 (with hosted engine appliance) and the error is there with a single host after minimum configuration (add a single nfs storage domain). Re: [ovirt-users] ?==?utf-8?q? Problem using xenial cloud images with ovirt
I will reply to myself here. Ubuntu 16.04 uses a different naming rules for it's network cards (no more ethXX). In the cloud image, they have a nic named ens3 wich defaults to DHCP (this is coded in file /etc/cloud/cloud.cfg.d/50-cloud-init.cfg). The long delay in booting was in part due to the fact I had no DHCP server and I was trying to push a fixed IP address to eth0. So I ended up adding a DHCP server and using ens3 instead of eth0. Hope this helps someone. Le Vendredi, Mai 27, 2016 12:13 EDT, "Claude Durocher" <claude.duroc...@cptaq.gouv.qc.ca> a écrit: Hi. I'm trying to run a Ubuntu cloud image on oVirt 3.6.
