Hi, I believe that both projects(Zanata and Transifex) are excellent choices for oVirt, but I have doubts about the largest membership of one or another independent of features. I think it would be interesting to accomplish a test aimed at the adoption oVirt, where a version would be submitted to Transifex and myself will take care to disclose to the community, to feel how people receive, after we evaluating, what think about this plan ? [Users] oVirt translations on Transifex
We have several Fedora related projects[1] using transifex as translation platform. I myself have been using transifex for some time, but searching for oVirt, I noticed it isn't there. Actually it is on Zanata platform. I'm wondering if we could take advantage of the big transifex subscribed user base and get oVirt in line with main fedora projects by migrating oVirt translations to transifex. Not sure if we have discussed this matter before. Anyway, I'm able to help with migration (if needed) and further help with oVirt translations. Could you guys share your thoughts? Re: [Users] "ataX: resetting link" problem with ovirt 3.1 on Fedora Core 17
Yuval, Probably Your problem this with version kernel, this version not compatible with some VDSM version, i recommend alter this is version kernel of hosts and reboot. If do not know alter, follow the steps below: Verifie yours vmlinuz's images: [root@firehome boot]# ls -l /boot/vmlinuz-3.* -rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 4662160 Mai 7 2012 /boot/vmlinuz-3.3.4-5.fc17.x86_64 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4839872 Dez 11 16:11 /boot/vmlinuz-3.6.10-2.fc17.x86_64 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4839776 Dez 4 11:30 /boot/vmlinuz-3.6.9-2.fc17.x86_64 Alter your configuration in container "menuentry..." for kernel version 3.3.4*, example: [root@firehome ~]# vim /boot/grub2/grub.cfg ### BEGIN /etc/grub.d/10_linux ### menuentry 'Fedora Linux' --class fedora --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os $menuentry_id_option 'gnulinux-simple-f23745bb-fd60-43b7-ac0f-6600ba582ad7' { load_video set gfxpayload=keep insmod gzio insmod part_msdos insmod ext2 set root='hd0,msdos1' if [ x$feature_platform_search_hint = xy ]; then search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root --hint-bios=hd0,msdos1 --hint-efi=hd0,msdos1 --hint-baremetal=ahci0,msdos1 --hint='hd0,msdos1' 508a2fe6-6263-4521-bf7d-83363b71edfd else search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set=root 508a2fe6-6263-4521-bf7d-83363b71edfd fi echo'Loading Linux 3.3.4-5.fc17.x86_64 ...' linux /vmlinuz-3.3.4-5.fc17.x86_64 root=/dev/mapper/vg_ovirt00-lv_root ro rd.lvm.lv=vg_ovirt00/lv_root rd.md=0 rd.dm=0 SYSFONT=True KEYTABLE=us rd.luks=0 LANG=en_US.UTF-8 rd.lvm.lv=vg_ovirt00/lv_swap rd.lvm.lv=vg_ovirt/lv_swap rhgb quiet echo'Loading initial ramdisk ...' After reboot your host, check: [root@firehome ~]# uname -a Test your storage use, I believe it will be alright. Dear Itamar, My dreams for oVirt 3.2: 1) Packages CentOs 6.x (ovirt-engine, ovirt-guest-agent); 2) Resize VM disk from GUI ovirt-engine; 3) Spice for Google Chrome, this browser run in anywere O.S. and largest world use; 4) Show in Virtual Machines > General > ip/ip's from vm OR Virtual Machines > Network Interfaces > show ip; 5) ISO upload from GUI ovirt-engine the best option; 6) Monitoring enviroment oVirt to Zabbix and Nagios(total vms, mem clusters, and more...) example: https://github.com/dougsland/nagios-plugins-rhev I think this would oVirt the project to another level, much higher ...
