Do you guys have any idea? I only found one earlier posting regarding this
problem but that didn't help. I have tar and javatar and the engine-host-
deploy packages on both engine and node (I don't think I need the deploy
package on the engine)

Well, it is working now. I had the ovirt-host-deploy packages installed but I
found some ovirt packages on the engine in a wrong version. After upgrading
and reinstalling the ovirt-host-deploy-* packages this works now.
