2011-10-10 Thread Daniel Müller
Hello again,

the same issue with me. But if you start the zeg without signing a NIC to it it
should start. Then login and adapt the network to your needs.
Shutdown the zeg, asign a Nic to it and start it again. it should run.
Working with me.

Greetings

 Betreff: [SOGo] Sogo-ZEG on Windows

 Hello,

I have tried to get the sogo 2 beta ZEG working on Virtualbox on a Windows
Server 2008 host. But unfirtunately it always runs into a message box
 saying
spawning session and freezes. There is no possibility to get it running. I
 know
that it works on a Linux hoat but I wonder whether it could be possible to
 get
it working on a Windows host too.

[SOGo] Sogo v2 and Samba4

2011-10-10 Thread Alessio Fattorini
I need any idea for this problem, we currently use samba3x-3.5.4 on our
system, we can't upgrade to samba4 on production system, we'll broke a
lot of thing.
How can i use sogo v2? Is there any possibility to make a redhat/centos
package that doesn't touch our existent samba installation?

I don't think i'm alone in this trouble :-)
Any idea?

As far as I understand things, a samba4 domain controller is not
required to run sogo v2 with native outlook compatibility.

Sogo v2 uses the the samba4 libraries to 'decode' between outlook and
sogo. But (again as far as I know!) you can continue to run samba3/ldap
on your domain.

Please correct me if I'm wrong on this...

I have no idea exactly how things work, but I can quote Ludovic from an
email sent to me, not via the list:

Samba 4 is used to decode the Exchange protocol. That means you won't have to
replace your currently running samba3/ldap environment.

But exactly how to do things: I'm not sure. I guess everything will be
released packaged, and we only need to apt-get install sogo-with-outlook
or something like that.

Hello,
as I understand it you want to run samba3 and samba4 on the same machine?
So you need to compile everything carefully from source (samba-franky)

[SOGo] Help! Urgent! Problem with new IMAP users

2011-10-10 Thread bas

Hi all,

I've a working SOGo environment with about 40 active users using imap.
The

backend from SOGo is MySQL.

We recently added a couple of mail users, but they gain no access to
SOGo. If I

look in the logfile:

connection=0x0x135ee30query has results, entering fetch-mode.
SOGoRootPage Login for user 'hp...@radarscholen.nu' might not have
worked -

What is going wrong?

[SOGo] Bug Compiling with LDAP Support fails

2011-10-10 Thread Darko Hojnik
Hi there,

I've tryed to compile SOGo with the latest stable and with the two beta.
My OS is FreeBSD 8 stable, PostgreSQL 9.1, OpenLDAP 2.4.26 for bindings
and as Client, GnuSTEP 1.19.3. As Mailsystem I'm using Postfix and
DBmail 3 RC3 over a PostgreSQL Database with Apache DS as LDAP Server.
Mails are stored in a large PostgreSQL Database and users comes from an
LDAP tree

I could successful compile SOPE 1.3.8b and 2.0 BETA without any Error
Without suport for LDAP I could compile SOGo 1.3.8b and 2.0.0b1 without
any Error. Only SOPE warns me about that it couldn't find mysqlclient.
But thats OK. nothing about MySQL is installed here and needed.

But if I try it with LDAP my build breaks

Re: [SOGo] Sogo v2 and Samba4

2011-10-10 Thread Jovan Malesevic

I have the same problem.

ClearOS 5.2 SP1 also have Samba 3.5. Samba is critical part of this OS,
because some services relies on Samba. There is no way to upgrade. You
must delete old and install new version, followed by difficult setting
another services to work with new Samba. But, I think Samba is necessary
for Openchange only. So, if you prefer Mozilla Thunderbird, you have no
problem.
