Hi All

I'm installing my first sogo using sogo version 1.3.8 on Centos 5.6 with
KVM (32 bits) and trying to implement openchange for synchronizing
outlook part.
And i noted that it is not possible to integrate openchange on 1.3.8
version of sogo.

1. Is it possible to solve this problem using Centos 5.6 + sogo 1.3.8?
2. For being sure to install and to configure openchange on sogo, what
   couple of linux distribution + version of sogo are better and
   recommanded to use:
 * Ubuntu version xx + Sogo version xx ?
 * Centos version xx + Sogo version xx ?
3. what will be by yourselves the efficient and better couple of linux
   distribution + version of sogo can you advise to use?

Thanks in advance for your help and your assistance
Papenzzo

Is the sogo-card created on the Funambol server?
I've created the sogo-*.xml and also added the needed entries in the
database.

Do you see it in funamboladmin?

I think that is where I'am missing something, but I dont know what.
With my Squeeze, I dont have a x server to run the funamboladmin.
So I created the 3 files copying them from the net, added the SOGo
connector to install.properties, but nothing.

your question make me sens and after a few more search, i catch it :
download and run funamboladmin from my ubuntu client, and connect to my
server.

I was then able to configure the sogo sources.

Thanks

Is the sogo-card created on the Funambol server? Do you see it in
funamboladmin? How about doing a find . -name sogo-card.xml from your
Funambol's root dir?

[SOGo] Debian Squeeze Funambol SOGo

2011-10-25 Thread Moussa NOMBRÉ

Hi,
 I'am trying, since a week, to run funambol on my SOGo.
It does'nt work, I'am getting :

[2011-10-24 02:58:49,629] [funambol.engine] [ERROR]

Error reading source configuration for source sogo-card
com.funambol.framework.server.store.NotFoundException: Source not found
for sogo-card

I check, re-do it, but nothing.

Help please.

Thanks

you should modify sogo-integrator file:
defaults/preferences/site.js

adding this line:
pref("app.update.enabled", false);
That's pretty wrong. Have a good read of
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Software_Update:Checking_For_Updates

You can force prefs using SOGo Integrator, like this:

force_bool_pref("app.update.silent", true);
force_bool_pref("app.update.enabled", true);
force_bool_pref("app.update.auto", true);
force_int_pref("app.update.mode", 1);
force_char_pref("app.update.url.override",
"https://www.bozo.com/tb/3/test/tb-update.php?version=%VERSION%target=%BUILD_TARGET%";);
[^]

And tb-update.php returns whatever you want to force.

To further remove the temptation, I like to change the startup page (or
disable it) so users don't see promotions from Mozilla for newer releases.

Not sure it's necessary to put in both places, but I add to sites.js:

pref("mailnews.start_page.enabled", false);
-- or --
pref("mailnews.start_page.url", "http://foo.bar.com";);

In custom-preferences.js:
force_bool_pref("mailnews.start_page.enabled", false);
-- or --
force_bool_pref("mailnews.start_page.url",
"http://www.tsswcb.state.tx.us/logo/";);

Does this allow security updates on the 3.1 branch though ???

No, i think
TB doesn't make difference.

Do you plan to update the version of SOGo connector, SOGO integrator
and lightning 1.0b7 for version 1.38 of SOGo?

No.

The next version to be supported is the version that will be the first
ESR. It was normally scheduled to be based on Thunderbird 8 but recent
discussions tend to push that towards Thunderbird 10.

It's a big problem for us wait until january. Out customer frequently
update TB unintentionally and we must reinstall manually old version
(by vnc)
Maybe the best way is disable thunderbird upgrade by sogo-integrator
variable for remain always into a TB stable version.
Exactly the same for us. I've twice had to downgrade one users to 3.1.15
from Thunderbird 7 ...

[SOGo] Does SOGo 32-bit rpm only work with 32-bit CPU?

2011-10-25 Thread Allen Chen

Hi, there

I have installed sogo-1.3.5a-1.el5.i386.rpm(and all related rpms like
sope-) onto

VirtualBox with CentOS 5.5 32bit on 32-bit CPU, SOGo works fine.

But when I installed the same rpms onto Vmware guest with CentOS 5.5
32bit on 64-bit CPU,
SOGo doesn't work properly: on web GUI, calendar doesn't show up (if
this calendar has been
synced with Funambol) and sogo log says process exited by signal 11. But
some users' calendars

are showed up(if they have never been synced with Funambol).

Can somebody confirm this behavior?

Thanks,
Allen
