Re: [SOGo] Cannot login following new install
Ok. I've made a little progress, starting again using the LJ article settings, including reinstalling SOGo. Now the DB log shows: 120210 10:26:0133608 Connectsogo@localhost on sogo 33608 QuerySET CHARACTER SET utf8 33608 QuerySELECT c_password FROM sogo_users WHERE c_uid = 'chris' 33608 QuerySELECT * FROM sogo_users WHERE (c_uid = 'chris') OR (mail = 'chris') 33608 QuerySELECT c_settings FROM sogo_user_profile WHERE c_uid = 'chris' So we have things happening beyond the initial password lookup. Now in the browser the URL changes from localhost/SOGo to localhost/SOGo/ However, nothing new is displayed, the login page still appears. If the wrong password is used, an error message appears, as expected. There are no errors in the apache logs, just: 127.0.0.1 - - [10/Feb/2012:10:32:27 +0800] "GET /SOGo/chris HTTP/1.1" 200 4036 "http://localhost/SOGo/"; "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0" TIA Nigel -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] latest addons - bug
Does anyone else get this with latest Thunderbird and new addons ? Using SOGo 1.3.111, Thunderbird 10ESR, Lightning 1.2.1 and Sogo Integrator and Connectors pre2 addons. Bug :- If a user with permissions to write to three calendars, ie his own personal calendar and two others; creates an event in the web interface he can only select the calendar for these calendars, but with Thunderbird/Lightning setup as above, he is able to select from any of the calendars available on the server where he only has read permissions. When he attempts to write to a calendar he can't write to he gets a Modification failed error as expected. But he shouldn't be able to select the calendar in the first place. This is a regression as this worked fine with Thunderbird 3.1.x, lightning 1.0b5/6, and Sogo Integrator/connector 3.106. -- Kind Regards, Julian Robbins Web Marketing and IT Manager Q-par Angus Ltd, Barons Cross Laboratories, Leominster, Herefordshire, HR6 8RS, United Kingdom Telephone +44 (0) 1568 612138, Fax +44 (0) 1568 616373, Web www.q-par.com IDEAS ENGINEERED - SPECIALISTS IN MICROWAVE and RF ENGINEERING (Registered office) Incorporated in England No 1826221 -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Something I mentioned in my post yesterday (got missed with the massive interest in the new addons) is that comparing the two versions of the older lightning xpi that the mozilla version was far quicker to recreate its cache file approx 90s compared to the Sogo version of lightning, taking 10-12 mins. Also the sogo version tends to make thunderbird completely lock up so its unusable until the cache has been rebuilt ... I have no idea why there's the difference though .. Re: [SOGo] SOGo extensions for Thunderbird 10!
I have tested sogo-connector-10.0pre2 for Thunderbird 10 (not ESR) on WinXP and Ubuntu with davical 1.02 on Ubuntu it works as promised. If you set up your remote address book you have to enter: http://caldav-server/caldav.php/user/contacts-collection/ or https:// ... When my address book was set up, the synchronize option was grayed out. I had to first click on a different address book before the synchronize option was available. After hitting synchronize it pulled all my contacts. By the way: I did not have to set the $c->use_old_sync_response_tag = true; option for my davical server. Apparently this is also fixed now. Now the only thing Thunderbird needs is a decent address book GUI ... Good job! Thanks! -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

Please update and report your issues. It still asks for the password for each element it tries to open with signon.remeberSignons=false (integrator for thunderbird 3 cached the password) and the integrator still doesn't work with some proxy settings: it seems that the only proxy options that work are "No proxy", "System settings for the proxy"[*] and "Manual proxy selection" (as long it's not a socks proxy, in which case it doesn't work).
