[SOGo] SOGo compilation error (Slackware 14 and libSBJson.so.2)

2013-01-03 Thread lukasg.666
Hello,
I'm trying to compile SOGo 2.0.3 on Slackware 14.0.

dependencies for GNUstep I have installed in Slackware:
make-3.82
binutils-2.22.52.0.2
gccgcc-4.7.1
gcc-objc-4.7.1
libffi-3.0.11
gmp-5.0.5
guile-1.8.8
openssll-1.0.1c
openssl-solibs-1.0.1c
libtiff-3.9.6
libpng-1.4.12
libjpeg-v8a
libxml2-2.8.0
audiofile-0.2.7
windowmaker-0.95.3

missing, but (I hope) not required:
iconv
ffcall (probably automaticaly installed with GNUstep Startup in next step)
libobjce

I've then installed:
GNUstep Startup 0.28.0
libmemcached 1.0

apache and mySQL are up and running (but not configured for SOGo yet)

I've installed SOPE 2.0.3a with:
./configure --with-gnustep --enable-debug --disable-strip
make
make install

I've configured SOGo-2.0.3 with:
./configure --enable-debug --disable-strip

and when I run make I get this error:

Making all in Main ...

 Linking tool sogod ...
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-slackware-linux/4.7.1/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld:

but libSBJson.so.2 is installed in /usr/GNUstep/System/Library/Libraries/

I'm not very experienced in compiling, :) but I can post any logs, directories
and files content, etc. as needed to provide you more information. Please let
me know how to solve this error.

Thank you.

[SOGo] Sogo cause Samba fault

2013-01-03 Thread Olivier Bitsch
Hi all,

I have successfully compiled and packaged the lastest git of OpenChange
and Sogo, but I endure an issue when I try to Open Outlook 2010.

My configuration :
* Debian Squeeze with some experimental packages enabled.
* Samba4 installed from experimental.
* OpenChange built from git (up to date the 2 jan 2013).
* Sope, Sogo and OpenChange plugin built from git (up to date the 2 jan
2013).

All the installation have been made with packaged done myself based on
git://git.debian.org/pkg-samba/openchange.git. I don't use OpenLDAP but
Samba4 has main directory. I can login without any issue on SOGo web
interface and all is working has expected.

The issue is coming from Outlook 2010. The first assistant is working
fine and detects my user. But when Outlook try to configure the first
time opening, it give an error that it's impossible to open folder
because the there is network issue. In the same time, Samba process
crashes with the attached log files.

I now there is a problem actually with the trust between my server and
the imap server, so I'm not able to login on IMAP server, but I'm not
sure this issue is related to this settings. I will try to fix this
trust now.

Thanks all,

[SOGo] What means Delegation?

2013-01-03 Thread Martin Rabl

Hi,

stumbled over context menu entry called delegation. Could someone
explain me, what that means?

Is that for sharing a mailbox with other users?

I tried it and it seems to have no effect on my box (only the logs of
SOGo and Dovecot are writing some lines more into the terminal).

I'm using SOGo 2.0.3 and Dovecot 2.0.19.

Thank you!

I'm getting further now, but it's still not working...

Using 'sogo-tool user-preferences get defaults heupink AuxiliaryMailAccounts'
gives me the settings like I entered them in the SOGo webaccess. That's good,
 progess! :-)

However: feeding these settings (copy/paste and enclosed in '') into
 sogo-tool gives:

 /usr/sbin/sogo-tool: Uncaught exception NSInvalidArgumentException, reason:
 GSMutableArray(instance) does not recognize allValues

 Complete set defaults command:
 /usr/sbin/sogo-tool user-preferences set defaults heupink
 AuxiliaryMailAccounts '[{password: x, userName: heupink,
identities: [{email: heup...@gmail.com, signature: test signature,
fullName: heupink, mourik jan c}], encryption: ssl, serverName:
 imap.googlemail.com, name: gm}]'

 http://pastebin.ubuntu.com/1488772/

Seems sogo-tool doesn't understand some of it's own output?

The logs show nothing, so I'm also not sure what value exactly causes the
 trouble…?

You need to repeat the key in the value string :

sogo-tool user-preferences set defaults heupink AuxiliaryMailAccounts
'{AuxiliaryMailAccounts: [{password: x, userName: heupink,
identities: [{email: heup...@gmail.com, signature: test signature,
fullName: heupink, mourik jan c}], encryption: ssl, serverName:

I am running SOGo on slackware 14 as well, so take heart that it can be
done! The libSBJson library is part of SOPE. However, mine is installed
in /usr/lib. It may be that /usr/GNUstep/System/Library/Libraries/ is
not in the search path for the linker to find, but I'm afraid I don't
know how to fix that. When I compiled SOPE I used this for configure:

./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-strip --enable-debug

This put the most of the libraries in /usr/lib and some in
/usr/local/lib (no idea why).

Looking at your list of dependencies, I see you have libmemcached, but
you will also need memcached itself and I ended up needing libevent
somewhere along the line.

I have created a set of slackbuild scripts that will generate packages
for gnustep, sope, sogo, memcached and libmemcached that I am willing to
share if you would like them. It might help get things started and it
will generate nice packages that you can installpkg, upgradepkg and
removepkg in the future if you need to.

This is a known (mis)behavior: currently, sogod will use values
specified in .GNUstepDefaults instead of those specified on the command
line.

I mean to fix this soon as it is against the principle of least surprise...
In the mean time, remove/rename the WOLogFile parameter from your
GNUstepDefaults file and it should just work.

 OpenLDAP dependancy
Why using two directory, Samba4 and OpenLDAP? My thoughts is to have a
simplest server as possible and the easiest way to create users.

Indeed, it is not mandatory nor required as long as you run Samba4 in
forked mode - which is production use setup.

The documentation covers the single process mode of Samba server which
is our common development setup. In a single process configuration, LDAP
synchronous call reentrance from SOGo OpenChange backend to Samba is
causing some kind of dead lock.

 ZEG appliance
Another question about the ZEG appliance, why samba4 is not working
 for file sharing?

I presume it was simply not intended to. In our respective configuration
guides (OpenChange and SOGo), we just try to expose the minimal
setup/requirements/configuration required to run OpenChange
Exchange-compatible server (btw we need to document autodiscovery and
rpcproxy).

Kind Regards,
Julien.

Re: [SOGo] SOGo compilation error (Slackware 14 and libSBJson.so.2)

2013-01-03 Thread lukasg 666
Hello,

thanks for help. I have compiled libevent and memcached, configured SOPE as
you adviced, compiled, installed. But I got the same error when compiling
SOGo... Today I installed Ubuntu in VirtualBox and I'm trying to configure
the whole thing to run. But... If you can share the slackbuilds, I would
love to try it on Slackware because it's my favorite system. Thank you!

 Hello,
I'm trying to compile SOGo 2.0.3 on Slackware 14.0.

dependencies for GNUstep I have installed in Slackware:

 binutils-2.22.52.0.2
 gccgcc-4.7.1
 gcc-objc-4.7.1
 libffi-3.0.11
 gmp-5.0.5

 libpng-1.4.12
 libjpeg-v8a
 libxml2-2.8.0
 audiofile-0.2.7
 windowmaker-0.95.3

missing, but (I hope) not required:
 iconv
ffcall (probably automaticaly installed with GNUstep Startup in next step)
 libobjce

 I've then installed:
 GNUstep Startup 0.28.0
 libmemcached 1.0

apache and mySQL are up and running (but not configured for SOGo yet)

 I've installed SOPE 2.0.3a with:
 ./configure --with-gnustep --enable-debug --disable-strip
 make
 make install

 I've configured SOGo-2.0.3 with:
 ./configure --enable-debug --disable-strip

and when I run make I get this error:

but libSBJson.so.2 is installed in /usr/GNUstep/System/Library/**

I'm not very experienced in compiling, :) but I can post any logs,
 directories
and files content, etc. as needed to provide you more information. Please
 let
me know how to solve this error.

 Thank you.
 Lukas

I am running SOGo on slackware 14 as well, so take heart that it can be
done! The libSBJson library is part of SOPE. However, mine is installed in
/usr/lib. It may be that /usr/GNUstep/System/Library/**Libraries/ is not
in the search path for the linker to find, but I'm afraid I don't know how
to fix that. When I compiled SOPE I used this for configure:

 ./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-strip --enable-debug

This put the most of the libraries in /usr/lib and some in /usr/local/lib
 (no idea why).

Looking at your list of dependencies, I see you have libmemcached, but you
will also need memcached itself and I ended up needing libevent somewhere
 along the line.

I have created a set of slackbuild scripts that will generate packages for
gnustep, sope, sogo, memcached and libmemcached that I am willing to share
if you would like them. It might help get things started and it will
generate nice packages that you can installpkg, upgradepkg and removepkg in
the future if you need to.

[SOGo] user (probably) authenticated, but nothing displayed

2013-01-03 Thread lukasg 666
Hello,

because of my troubles compiling SOGo on Slackware, today I've installed
SOGo on Ubuntu 12.04.1-server running in VirtualBox. Everything hopefully
installed fine. I'm trying to use SOGo with MySQL as described at
http://blog.ryanrhee.net/?p=298 but when I fill in the name (admin) and
password (secret) in my host computer browser, the only change I see is that

http://192.168.1.130/SOGo/

changes to

http://192.168.1.130/SOGo/admin

and nothing more. The login screen remains the same. Please let me know
what's wrong or missing. Thank you.

Sorry for previous post. Problem solved with:

defaults write sogod OCSSessionsFolderURL mysql://sogo:sogopw@localhost
:3306/sogo/sogo_sessions_folder
defaults write sogod OCSFolderInfoURL mysql://sogo:sogopw@localhost
:3306/sogo/sogo_folder_info

I was too tired to read the rest of the page:

Got to get some sleep now. Good night!

[SOGo] Webclient, Loginpage in English instead of configured German

2013-01-03 Thread Martin Rabl

Hi,

today I updated our SOGo-Server from 1.3.17 to 2.0.3a. Runs pretty easy,
but: before the web login page were in german, now its in english (ie.
label of the checkbox was Benutzername merken before, now its
Remember username).
As SOGoLanguage is German configured (as before) ... is there
another switch for selecting the language? Or does this now depend on
the servers locale (configured en-us) and not on the sogo configuration?
OS is Ubuntu 12.04.

Thank you for every hint,

  Martin

[SOGo] update.php and other updates

2013-01-03 Thread Simon Walter
I don't understand why the integrator extension has these lines in the
site.js:

pref(app.update.auto, false);
pref(app.update.enabled, false);
pref(autoupdate.enabled, false);
pref(extensions.update.auto, false);
pref(extensions.update.enabled, false);

Is this to disable Thunderbirds regular update methods? I assume this is
necessary because the integrator extension has it's own update method
which contacts the server found specifiied in extensions.rdf under:

updateURL=http://example.com/plugins/updates.php?plugin=%ITEM_ID%amp;version=%ITEM_VERSION%amp;platform=%PLATFORM%;

So when we use SOGo's update.php server, we should disable Thunderbirds
update methods?

Is my understanding correct?

I have yet to test updating, and would like to use it to roll out TB17
and the SOGo extensions. Any advice or documentation is very appreciated.

Thanks,

Simon
