Hello Jean Raby

In /etc/imapproxy.conf it was already set to this:
server_hostname imap.fantinibakery.com

the issue has to be a dns server problem here.

Update: mail sogo mail web page is ok now.must have been dns cache
somewhere..

Re: [SOGo] Problem with ACLs

Thanks for your help.
I'm using this AddOn but with with Addon i can't delegate the right
for administration. Do you have a trick to do this?

I remember some limitation in sogo webmail
regarding mail folder ACLs. I think it was that shared folders
couldn't be delegated because the ownership goes back to the
email servers "public" user and not the logged in
user. Anyhows, I solved it in our situation by using a
Thunderbird addon called "IMAP-ACL-Extension", it works well.
For us, most people are on Thunderbird as primary client, so it
is better anyway.

Hello,

we can't use the delegation of the adminstration of imap-ACLs. I
always geht a popup with:
An error occurred during object publishing
tried to access private object (0x0x2ac551a84898,
  SoClass=SOGoMailFolder)

And in /var/log/sogo/sogo.log i see many messages like:

  NAME:LDAPException
REASON:operation bind failed: Invalid credentials (0x31)
INFO:{login = "cn=r.naujack,ou=groups,dc=quotas,dc=de"; }

We are using a centos5 system with
sogo.x86_64   2.0.4b-1.el5
cyrus-imapd.x86_64 2.3.7-12.el5_7.2

I'd like to delegate the adminstration of some imap folders to
others users.

I can't subcribe some imap folders. With cyradm i've set then
rights to all and the web client shows that i have all rights
but i can't subscribe in thunderbird (17.0.4) to the INBOX, only
to subfolders.

thanks and regards

[SOGo] sogo event invitations

2013-03-22 Thread lists
Hi,

we have set up sogo on one of our ubuntu servers and we noticed that
with the new thunderbird 17.0.3 esr version the email address of the
organizer is set to "first_name.last_name@localhost" by default, which
means that users can no longer send invitations to the people attending
an event.

Would you kindly refer me to any kind of relevant causes/documentation
on the issue? Many thanks.

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request

After many test I think the problem comes from the ics file
format imported from webcalendar..

example of export Webcalendar :

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
PRODID:-//WebCalendar-v1.0.5
VERSION:2.0
METHOD:PUBLISH
BEGIN:VEVENT
UID:20130319t085521z-9244286-31...@webagenda.mydomaine.fr

DTSTAMP:20130319T085521Z
DTEND:20130315T16Z
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR

the problem seems to be the format of the email

imports from other calendar (for example google) work fine..

would there be a "compatibility attribute" to put in sogo.conf
(or. GNUStep)?

What error do you see in your SOGo log file?

Re: [SOGo] Add Attendee to single event of reoccurring meeting

On 13-03-22 9:19 AM, Ronald J. Yacketta wrote:

Is this designed / default behavior or overlooked and should be added as a bug?

1) double-click a repeating event, tell it to modify "only this event."
2) add an attendee, save and close.
3) note that your new attendee is added to ALL the repeating events, not just
one time.

This is the expected behavior, the new attendee is added as "needs-action" in
the exception event, and it is added as "declined" in the 'master event'.

This reflects what Lightning does and was the Right Thing(tm) as per the rfc.

This problem is due to character encoding. Only files in us-ascii
work. Both UTF-8 and ISO-8859-1 are reject. Does anyone as an idea on
how to deal with this ?

$ file -bi notworking.ics

[SOGo] Add Attendee to single event of reoccurring meeting

2013-03-22 Thread Ronald J. Yacketta
Is this designed / default behavior or overlooked and should be added as a bug?

1) double-click a repeating event, tell it to modify "only this event."
2) add an attendee, save and close.
3) note that your new attendee is added to ALL the repeating events, not just
one time.

Re: [SOGo] Problem with ACLs

2013-03-22 Thread Euan Thoms

I remember some limitation in sogo webmail regarding
mail folder ACLs. I think it was that shared folders couldn't be
delegated because the ownership goes back to the email servers
"public" user and not the logged in user. Anyhows, I
solved it in our situation by using a Thunderbird addon called
"IMAP-ACL-Extension", it works well. For us, most people are on
Thunderbird as primary client, so it is better anyway.

  Hello,

we can't use the delegation of the adminstration of imap-ACLs. I
  always geht a popup with:

And in /var/log/sogo/sogo.log i see many messages like:

  cyrus-imapd.x86_64 2.3.7-12.el5_7.2

I'd like to delegate the adminstration of some imap folders to
  others users.

I can't subcribe some imap folders. With cyradm i've set then
rights to all and the web client shows that i have all rights but
i can't subscribe in thunderbird (17.0.4) to the INBOX, only to
  subfolders.

  thanks and regards

You don't use the name of a address book for the CardDAV URL.
You need the UID of it.
So your 2-nd question is irrelevant.

I usually open one address card for editing in the address book to
configure.
Then copy the URL of that.
Change "so" to "dav" and remove the card ID and command at the end.

Example:
URL of the address card from the shared address book
https://sogo.your.domain/SOGo/so/userID/Contacts/otherUser_36FD-4E158980-1F-7F6A0980/C55BB775-DCA0-0001-1266-1D40190012AA.vcf/edit

URL for adding in Connector
https://sogo.your.domain/SOGo/dav/userID/Contacts/otherUser_36FD-4E158980-1F-7F6A0980/

BTW:
userID is always the one of the user connecting to SOGo.
otherUser is the ID of the owner of the shared address book.

Kind regards,
Christian Mack

Re: [SOGo] Outlook calendar and contacts work, mail fails

2013-03-22 Thread Nigel Pegram
Hello again,

I've tried sorting this out, but when I've added the suggested settings
to dovecot it causes IMAP logins to fail.

My guess is the passing comment about limiting the changed permissions
to the sogo process, but I've no idea how to do that. I tried adding
user=sogo and uid= but it didn't seem to work.

Could someone provide an example of how they've done that in dovecot please?

TIA
Nigel

[SOGo] thunderbird, link to other user's address book

2013-03-22 Thread Anton Romanov

Hi all,

I'm trying set up a Thunderbird+Connector installation to sync address
books.

A user's address book is connected and synced no problem, but I just
can't find/figure how should a URL be formed for a shared address book
which belongs to another user but is shared to the one I'm configuring for.

Also if an address book name contains spaces, is that %20 or what?

Thanks!

Have a great day!

Anton

[SOGo] Problem with Outlook Calendar - ZEG

2013-03-22 Thread yoann maquet
Hi,

I've just install ZEG on my computer to test an exchange alternative, and I
have a little problem with the calendars:

When I'm loggin on SOGo interface I can Read / Create ... calendars, but
when
I'm loggin on Outlook (with the same account ^^) I can't read (a popup
appears
to sai me that I can't read) my calendars, but I can add appointment,
events...and acces on the SOGo interface.

I think it's just an acces privilege to configure, but I can't find it.

Thanks :)
