[SOGo] Wits end with Ubuntu install

2015-07-03 Thread Gerald Brandt

Hi,

I'm trying to get SOGo and Openchange working on Ubuntu 14.04, and
though I had it kinda working once, I can't get it working again (fresh
install).

The SOGo web pages works great.
Thunderbird won't connect IMAP (no plugins)
Outlook send email, but it doesn't end up in outs INBOX (it ends up in
the web pages)

- the sent mail goes into Outlooks sSent, but not the web pages.
When I sync Outlook, I get an 0x8004010f error.

I can't seem to find anything in the logs. Maybe I'm looking in the
wrong place.

My config files have essentially duplicated a ZEG install, with my domain.

I need help.  Please.

Gerald

Re: [SOGo] SOGo, Postgres - question about users - better explanation

Hi Daniel,

thanks you for help, it works great :)

Hi Mirek,

here what you will need to do is to create a VIEW on your PostgreSQL
database that Sogo will access. In my case (MySQL) the create view
command is:

create or replace view sogo as select domain, email as mail, email
as c_uid, email as c_mail, email as c_name, password as c_password,
name as c_cn from accounts;

Then, on my sogo.conf I have:
  SOGoUserSources =
(
  {
type = sql;
id = publicmav;
viewURL = "mysql://user:password@hostname/database/sogo";
canAuthenticate = YES;
isAddressBook = YES;
userPasswordAlgorithm = crypt;
displayName = "Global";
DomainFieldName = "domain";
  }
);

I recommend that you read the installation guide, there are a lot of
important parameters for you sogo.conf file that you need to
understand:
http://www.sogo.nu/files/docs/SOGo%20Installation%20Guide.pdf .

Hi.

I have already installed Postfix and Dovecot supported with PostgreSQL
database. In my DB i keep users, domain and aliases. Now i want to
add SOGo
but i have a problem with users because i don't want create new
database and
tables for sogo but use my previouse DB with my users. Can I
connect SOGo to
another database ? and can I create own SELECT scripts ?

Re: Re: [SOGo] Sogo 2.3 throws errors after weblogin

2015-07-03 Thread dlb
Hello,

another way to get the downgraded version of libldap-2.4-2 is to use the
"hold" feature of a debian package.

Here is what I've done :
$ echo "deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main" | sudo tee -a /
etc/apt/sources.list
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libldap-2.4-2=2.4.31-2
$ echo "libldap-2.4-2 hold" | sudo dpkg --set-selections

Now "apt-get upgrade" won't update libldap-2.4-2

When the problem is fix, I will remove the hold using:
$ echo "libldap-2.4-2 install" | sudo dpkg --set-selections
and a little "apt-get upgrade" should then put the latest version

Just 2¢ ^^

[SOGo] SOGO ZEG VM, missing webmin?

2015-07-03 Thread France
Hi guys,

i wanted to show SOGO to our business directors.
So i went the easiest path possible. Downloaded ZEG OVA from:
http://www.sogo.nu/downloads/zeg.html.
Converted it to VHD using VBoxManage. Created it as template for our XenServer
6.0.2 cluster and spun it up.
After it booted, I also installed XEN tools. It is working as PV guest, as
expected.

After install I could open webpage and login with sogo1 test user without any
problems.
Then I tried webmin, but got connection refused. Checked IPtables to see that
there are no lmits.
I tried to restart webmin but found there is none installed. Shouldn’t there be
webmin installed?

root@vagrant-ubuntu-trusty-64:~# /etc/init.d/webmin status
bash: /etc/init.d/webmin: No such file or directory
root@vagrant-ubuntu-trusty-64:~# dpkg --get-selections | grep webmin
root@vagrant-ubuntu-trusty-64:~# netstat -apltn | grep 1
root@vagrant-ubuntu-trusty-64:~#

Is webmin installed after the VM is started for the first time, using some
strange script magic?

Tnx for help in locating webmin and best regards.

[SOGo] Sogo ActiveSync Calendar Reminder issues

2015-07-03 Thread info
I've configured Sogo 2.3.0 with Exchange ActiveSync Support. In general, it
syncs fine with my iOS 8.4 devices (mail, calendar, contacts).

The problem i'm facing is that calendar entry reminders created via OS X
10.10.4 Machines using CalDav are not properly synced to my activesync
devices. The calendar entries are synced but without the reminders (e.g.
15min before start time). The Calendar Reminders are visible in Sogo Web UI,
but not on the active sync device.

I was unable to find a solution to this issue, since sometimes (1 out of 10
calendar entries) the reminders get synced; Can'tg figure what's causing the
issues...

Does anybody have an idea?
