[SOGo] Outlook stops collecting email

2015-10-08 Thread Gerald Brandt

Hi,

I have Outlook set to collect email every 5 minutes, and it sometimes
stops updating. Are automatic updates still an issue?

I've set the updates to every minute now, and will monitor.

[SOGo] IMAP ACLs recursively

2015-10-08 Thread Peter Beck

Hi there,

Is it possible to set IMAP ACLs recursively in SOGo's Webmail or do I
need to use a Fat-Client to do that ?
We've got users with lots of subfolders and it's a little bit
inconvenient to set the permissions for each of these folders.

I know there are extensions for Thunderbird, but just asking if there is
a way in webmail and I just don't get it...as far as I can see it's only
possible for single folders and none of their subfolders.

Regards
Peter

[SOGo] ZEG Issue

2015-10-08 Thread Gerald Brandt

Hi,

I've been having problems with addresses being expanded from
em...@example.com to emailfirstn...@example.com and
emaillastn...@example.com

Because of that, the email bounces.

I've gotten some configs for postfix and dovecot from a sogo user here,
but they just don't work for me.

So I figured, hey, let's see what ZEG does.

I installed ZEG, logged in and did:
# samba-tool user add gbr gbr --given-name-Gerald --surname=Brandt
# openchange-newuser --create gbr

both commands worked great.

Then I sent an email to g...@example.com

postfix split it into ger...@example.com and bra...@example.com and the
email bounced.

So, ZEG has the same issue I've been seeing. Does anyone have a solution?

Gerald

[SOGo] SoGo + outlook

2015-10-08 Thread Jan Sękara
Guys,

Is it possible to work with sogo like with Microsoft AD, to have in outlook:

1. Callendars available to everybody

2. Rooms

3. Connection to LDAP, so all users by default would see others callendars
(without details)

4. Address book etc.

Is there a manual? Or maybe there are people here that can do it for us?

No, I've never seen this checked by default, and don't think there is a
config setting to change this, but I could be wrong.

Mario,
Zentyal are the maintainers of openchange.
The exact instructions to deprovision openchange, with explanation, are
here:

http://labs.zentyal.org/zentyal-openchange-as-an-additional-exchange-server/
Search in the page for keyword "Step 6".
Here is the text, without the screenshots.

"Step 6 – Undo the traveled road

If for any reason, you want to uninstall the openchange service, one of
the features added with Zentyal 3.4 is a way to do that. However, to be
able to do it, you should not be using any resource from that server.
Basically, you need to move, disable or remove all mailboxes hosted on it.

OpenChange deprovision fails because there is an active mailbox

Zentyal does not support yet any way to move mailboxes from one server
to other server, so you would need to use Microsoft Exchange tools if
you want to keep those mailboxes. In this guide we are going to just
