[SOGo] Multiple SOGoUserSources ad backup

We have two Samba4 DCs. Sogo uses one of them as UserSources - it works 
flawlessly.


The other day we needed to reboot one of the ADs and sogo of course 
failed to authenticate,

because the ldap server wasn't found.

Can I use the multiple sources option to have the other AD as backup if 
the first one fails to respond,

or is there another way to handle this.

Hello,

We solved the problem.
Indeed in our sogo version 2.3.2, the mysql database (release 3.1) had its
MyISAM tables and we had transferred as in the new MariaDB server (like the
did with SOGO 2).

Now it seems that the version of SOGo 3.0.2 uses the transactional mode.
By changing the storage mode (Engine) tables in the MariaDB release (5.5) in
InnoDB mode, everything is back in order.

You can configure multiple IPs like this:

hostname = "ldap://x.y.z.141 ldap://x.y.z.142";;


or is there another way to handle this.
Another option is to use HAproxy on localhost:389, and point haproxy to 
your dc's.

I'm also using 2 Samba 4 DCs and my sources have both listed:

  hostname = "ldap://dc1:389 ldap://dc2:389";;

Never had any issues with that setup

[SOGo] Android Contact Import duplicates

Installed SOGo 3.0.2, Activesync runs well except when I try to import contacts 
from my Android phone ( Nexus 5 - Android 6.0.1 )
I start off with an empty account, sync to Android and then I import a VCF file 
containing 590 contacts on the phone. The contacts appear in SOGo but then they 
start duplicating like crazy. After 5 minutes there's 1180, then 2500, etc. 
When sogod died earlier I had 450 000 contacts in there!!

Anyone else experienced a similar issue ?

Hi,

We are trying to get the Calendar function up and running, but when we create 
and event and send out the 
invites it doesn't add the attendees to either internal address's or to 
external address.

Needless to say this is critical in scheduling (we probably missed something in 
the config but have been through it and can't locate this.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Do you have this line in sogo.conf ?

SOGoAppointmentSendEMailNotifications = YES;
Make sure it's spelled EXACTLY like above, upper/lower cases matter in the 
configuration.
How is your smtp mechanism setup ? Relay or authenticated ?

[SOGo] LDAP and memberOf for authentication

I have opened a bug ticket two months ago without feedback. I have not asked 
here on the list. So maybe I have configured something wrong and somebody might 
be able to help me solving my issue.

I have a OU with members and I try to use this "group" for authentication. 
Unfortunately SOGo only prints an error on the website, after two minutes have 
passed.

"An unhandled error occurred."

This is from the logs:

You need to give much more details. Are things running? What EXACTLY is
