[SOGo] frequent HTTP 412 errors/calendar syncing problems

I'm on version 3.2.5 and seeing lots of HTTP 412 errors in the SOGo logs
relating to contact syncing.

For example:

The only thing I see that might be incorrect is that the UID inside the
record does not match the UID of the DB record. Is this supposed to be that
way? Perhaps that is the problem?

The user is having difficulty syncing iPhone/iCal desktop/SOGo web. I'm
concerned that this might be related. There are sometimes issues with iCal
pushing the contacts to SOGo, however, there are also several instances of
SOGo simply stopping the sync after it believes all contacts have been
pushed out when they clearly have not.

[SOGo] SOGo and AD distribution groups

Hi,

When connecting SOGo to Active Directory, does it understand 
distribution groups and handle them correctly? This would be under 
Caldav, Carddav and the web interface.

Hi MJ,

haven't checked that, but when not using User binding but giving a bind dn, 
probably the bind User is used for this action. Probably you can check that in 
the AD logs.
Also, you can probably give the user only the right to modify the userPassword 
attribute - at least in openldap that's possible.

To support end-user password change using /SOGo, is it required that the 
bindDN from sogo.conf has admin permissions in active directory?


Or are the changes done under the credentials of the currently /SOGo 
logged on user, and without the need for admin permissions in AD?

[SOGo] Calendar Share Problem in Outlook 2016

Hi,

I have SOGo version 3.2.4 and I am using it in outlook 2016.
It works fine, and I can create entries in the calendar, but when I want to 
share the calendar, the button is greyed out.

With a normal exchange server it looks like “1.png” and with the sogo exchange 
it looks like “2.png”

Do you know why this is happening? Am I missing any option?
