Re: [SOGo] Winmail.dat Invites

2018-08-30 Thread Bob Wooldridge
I have the script working with maildrop!  The only hitch is that the
attachment must be identified as ms-tnef.  Just attaching a winmail.dat
file to a message will not work.

If you are familiar with maildrop, just add this to your .mailfilter file:

exception {
   xfilter "/usr/local/bin/ytnefprocess"
}

The description sounds good and it seems to be in active development.

And he seems to be willing to add new features. Maybe he can learn
from your problem, from my comments and from the links below.

QUOTE:

"If you want additional information exported (to the vCalendar or
vCard information), then use the -v option to try & find out where the
information is. Then send the winmail.dat file, along with the -v
listing to me (randall.h...@gmail.com )
along with some information & justifications. It works best if you
send several data files, showing the option in various states to back
up your claim. For example, if you want me to parse recurrence
patterns encoded in the TNEF stream, then send yourself several
meeting requests with almost identical information, and several
different recurrence patterns, and (hopefully) the only fields that
change will the the UID & the recurrence information."

Can you please share a rough schedule for Thunderbird 60 compatibility?
I have pretty much everything working now. Expect a preview release
tomorrow.

I was referring to the original poster's quote of using ActiveSync.

Except for this minor detail and your misguided attempt of belittling me,
you obviously missed the whole point of SOGo Connector/Integrator:
integration with SOGo's settings and the magic automatic configuration
for the user. Plain calendar sync isn't the issue here as (at least)
CalDAV sync is built into Lightning anyways.

[SOGo] How to add a Custom Logo/Branding to the login page - SOGo 4

2018-08-30 Thread goetz.reini...@filmakademie.de
Hi,

I followed the link from
https://sogo.nu/support/faq/how-to-customize-the-html.html
 and added a custom
logo (png) to the front-page and removed the original SOGo Logo.

After a page reload the original logo is still there and my custom logo is not
loaded.

What steps are may be missing?

Thanks for Hints and Feedback . Götz

from the addons description:

"Synchronisiert Kontakte, Aufgaben und Kalender mit Thunderbird über
Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) oder CalDAV/CardDAV."

Great that you found a solution that works for you. I personally do not
consider anything using ActiveSync a solution -- especially not if open
protocols like CardDAV or CalDAV are available.
Thus, I'd be more than happy to get access to even drafts of the new
Thunderbird plugins that help me testing them before I have to deploy
them immediately when they're released just because Thunderbird pushes
its updates...

best regards,
Adi
