[SOGo] Migration v3 to 4 new machine

2019-10-17 Thread Robert A Wooldridge
I would like to migrate my current sogo config which is version 3 to a
new machine using v4.  Any suggestions on the best way to approach this?

That happens normally when you have invalid version numbers in your

Just tested, it now installs other extensions with success, but enters
an update loop restarting TB. Other than that, loaded SOGo calendars
fine. Haven't tested entries CRUD.

LetsEncrypt.

I've just pushed a fix - SOGo Connector now can install extensions as
long as the server is not using a self-signed certificate.

I don't have this issue. You could always share your exact site.js and
SOGo.conf to make sure (by stripping password information).

Also, you could always remove all the junk in Preferences > Composition

For self-signed certificates, you can always set
extensions.install.requireBuiltInCerts to false to make it work.

Re: [SOGo] iCal Error when creating new calendar in macOS 10.14 and 10.15

2019-10-17 Thread "Sam W. Klambour"

Hi Götz,

can we do something to motivate the SOGo Team to fix this bug?

https://sogo.nu/bugs/view.php?id=4813

It's kind of odd to have to tell users that they can not create/delete
calendars in iCal (aka Calendar.app)

Cheers

Unfortunately this cannot be the reason, because the development box
does not have any Mails in any Inbox. I recreated the box to trace this
Problem. The only message appearing is after I log into SOGo, telling me
that my calendar has been created.

But thanks for the Debug remark concerning Dovecot I forgot about that.
I will activate debug logging and look if I get more clues.

As you want to pre set a calendar in Thunderbird, you do not need "SOGo
Connector" for that.
You have to set the corresponding entries in Thunderbird preferences
(about:config).
You have to create new "calendar.registry.*" entries.
Example:

calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.name;SOGo Events
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.cache.enabled;true
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.calendar-main-in-composite;true
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.color;#ff
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.disabled;false
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.forceEmailScheduling;false
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.imip.identity.key;id1
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.readOnly;true
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.refreshInterval;30
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.suppressAlarms;false
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.type;caldav
calendar.registry.1235f89f-c385-4338-8ff3-aabd798cd14d.uri;https://sogo.uni-konstanz.de/SOGo/dav/User/Calendar/5174-53076E00-7-799C0570/

And you have to make sure, that all users have read privileges for that
calendar in SOGo.

Kind regards,
Christian Mack
