AW: [SOGo] Active Sync with Outlook 2019

2021-04-16 Thread "Nagel, Peter"
Hi,

this usally happens when there is no DisplayName set (or DisplayName is set to
the EmailAddress). Where to set it depends on your underlying infrastructure
(PostgreSQL, MariaDB, LDAP)

I've connected my Outlook 2019 via ActiveSync and on sending Mails everything
is fine, From: contains "Peter Nagel "

Betreff: [SOGo] Active Sync with Outlook 2019

Hi everyone,

we have a SOGo 5.0.1 server and connecting some client with EAS and Outlook
2019. It's working so far but we faced a serious issue:

The "From"-Field contains two not separated email addresses which is not RFC
compliant:

From: name.n...@domain.com

It's tested with Outlook and some Android Clients. As long it's EAS, this from
field is wrong. Some provider start blocking those emails because, as i said,
they are not RFC compliant.

I know, Outlook 2019 is not officially supported, but Android is. Is there a
way to change this behaviour? Does anyone can verify this? Mabye our Sogo is
misconfigured.

Thanks in advance and have a nice weekend.

Tobias Wilhelm
