2017-07-31 Thread Scott Damron
Activsync with outlook 2016 syncs messages, calendar, notes, etc over a single
https port. There is no need for MAPI. Openchange provided MAPI support.
Activsync is a lot nbetter from a reliability and security point of view.

RE: [SOGo] Storage encryption in SOGo

I don’t think you understand what SOGo is, or how it works…it doesn’t store
your email, that is done by your email server.

Hi!

Is any kind of storage encryption planning to implement in SOGo? I think about
this one: encrypt everything (mail, contacts, calendar) with a key encrypted
with user password which a user send at authentication time. Imagine, if VPS
where SOGo is installed will be hacked, and whole mail archive will be
accessible to a hacker.

Depends on what platform you are on, but just a general apt get upgrade works
on Debian. No issues as long as you aren't doing an upgrade to a major version.
Day going from a 2.x to a 3.x.

Thanks Scott rewrite rule worked, now users are able to use mail.domain.com
<http://mail.domain.com> instead mail.domain.com/SOGo
<http://mail.domain.com/SOGo>

RewriteEngine On

RewriteRule ^/$ /SOGo/ [R]

Is there anyway where users dont see internal url from the browser i.e. they
should see mail.domain.com <http://mail.domain.com> instead
mail.domain.com/SOGo <http://mail.domain.com/SOGo> .

Thanks in advance.
