[SOGo] Event in invited meeting room's calendar sometime created without organizer

2013-11-14 Thread Покотиленко Костик
Hi,

I've noticed that sometimes events that users create in their personal
calendars and that's having meeting room invited are being saved to
meeting room's calendar without ORGANIZER field. There are 2 side
effects when that happens:
- the organizer of such event in shared meeting room's calendar appears
to be meeting room user
- it is possible to book this meeting room for time occupied by such
event

I am unable to reproduce this behavior on my account, but this is
causing some mess. Sogo 2.0.7

What could be the reason?

Also noticed that all problem events created from OS X 10.9. But not all
events created from OS X 10.9 are problematic.

[SOGo] SOGo calendar and address book acl to user doesn't work if users have primary groups with same name (posixgroup)

2013-10-15 Thread Покотиленко Костик
Hi.

We use LDAP posix scheme where each user is given it's own primary group
of the same name. There are also mail aliases in LDAP.

SOGo is setup with two LDAP user sources, one for users
((objectclass=gosaMailAccount)(uid=*)), and one for mail aliases
((objectclass=posixgroup)(mail=*)). That work great.

Sharing of calendars and address books for mail groups are working is
expected.

But, If I want to share calendar or address book for specific user, I
search for it, SOGo finds it and shows as a *user* which is Ok, I click
add and close both windows. Then if I open permission window again - the
user is shown as *group*. In the database this acl is written as @user
which means group.

I've looked what ldap queries are made on each step and found:
- when I look for user the are two queries, one is looking for group
(ANDed with search filter for groups) and second looking for user (ANDed
with search filter for users. This is how it should work.
- When I found user and click to add it SOGo forgets that she already
know the object is a *user* and makes two (or one) more queries like
this:
 - first: (cn=user)
 - second: (uid=user)

Note there is NO filter ANDed. In my case it finds primary group user
for user user.

IMHO the best way to do what you want to do is to use your favorite editor

 missing?

Does your imap server uses . (Dot) as mailbox hierahy separator?

As far as I know, when you send mail SOGo tries to copy this mail to
configures Sent mailbox, if it doens't exist it tries to create it. If
your imap server uses / (Slash) as separator it will refuse to create
Inbox.Sent.

How do I have to create my SOGo users to retrieve the mail correctly?
I have them currently as 'userid' only without domain name. In the
log, the IMAP server rejects the connection because the domain is
  nor included.
Is there an option on the SOGo config file to tell SOGo to connect
the userid adding the domain defined?

 field)
in AD but I am wondering if i'm overlooking something here.

Can it be done via shell or some other way other then taking up a field in AD
 used for something else?

We use Gosa to manage LDAP users/mailaccounts/quotas

Interesting! Do you happen to know, if Gosa has virtual domains support
 (like Phamm)??

Well, we actually use only one virtual domain.

But, I think it is possible because:

- first you have to create server, tell it's mailserver, type in cyrus
admin connection details.
- then when you add mail to a user you type in full email address,
choose server mailbox is located at, specify quota, aliases and forwards

This way I think it's possible to have multiple virtual domains on
several servers. Servers are not linked to domains.

Is it possibile to check every folder without click on?

[SOGo] Virtual search folders

2010-11-05 Thread Покотиленко Костик
Hi,

We are using SOGo as a web mail in several organizations we support.
It's the most usable webmail, most plain users like it.

But, when it comes to a more advanced users which have big imap folder
tree and sieve filtering it becomes a mess. One have to check many
folders for a new mail, etc.

If there is a virtual search folders like NewMail which shows unread
mail from all folders it would come handy for advanced imap users.

I'm telling about the feature Horde have, there is a search feature with
the ability to save it as a virtual folder.

So how would I fire a feature request, or maybe some work is being done
to make this possible?

[SOGo] Sogo funambol connector

2010-11-02 Thread Покотиленко Костик
Hi,

I was trying to setup funambol + Sogo funambol connector. All done by
instructions in pdf.

I'm stuck at running funamboladmin and configuring Sogo funambol
connector. funamboladmin runs, I navigate to Modules/Sogo/Sogo funambol
connector, double-click it (or right-click/edit) and nothing happens, it
doesn't open preferences.

Tried funambol 8.7, then 8.5.2 with same result.

What can be wrong?
