[SOGo] How to set default mail address in SOGo 3?
Hi, I have connected SOGo via LDAP with a FreeIPA server. In this setup, each user has many entries for the mail attribute in FreeIPA/LDAP. The default mail address SOGo uses for each account - for example as "from" - is the first entry in "mail" returned via ldap - which is not always the alias the users want. Is there a way to set a default mail address for the users? Or do I have to check back with the LDAP server to sort the entries in the "mail" attribute properly? Re: [SOGo] Docker Sogo
Hi, the warning is just that: it's a warning. You can solve it by setting the servername in the apache configuration just as mentioned in the warning. You did not really describe what your actual problem is - but I guess your container exits/stops right after the warning? Is that correct? In that case, as mentioned above, the warning is just a coincidence, it is not causing the container to stop. I'd check for other reasons why the container stops working. As a side node: the images from @jenserat are built via packages supplied by inverse, the company behind sogo. Inverse stopped providing these packages, so you might consider using another container image or building one on your own. Im sorry for late answer, but i started a new thing and i let this going behind... So, i use this one: https://hub.docker.com/r/jenserat/sogo/ and there you have like commands that you should do, but when i do, i keep recieving this: AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 172.17.0.2. Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message Already made a network bridge for docker and then it appears like this: AH00558: apache2: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 172.17.0.3. Set the 'ServerName' directive globally to suppress this message. And everytime i create another one, keeps going 4.5.6.7 on the last number for that IP. 2017-05-04 6:03 GMT+01:00 "Roland Wolters" <users@sogo.nu>:Hi Catarina, I am not used to the Docker image from JensErat, however that does not look tooo sophisiticated. Re: [SOGo] Installing SOGo in an mutliserver environment
Hi Michael, my setup is: - PostgreSQL DB - OpenLDAP - Dovecot (IMAP) - Postfix (SMTP) - SOGo Webfrontend - nginx reverse proxy Each service is running in its own Docker container and thus on its own instance. So no need to run the Apache web server on the IMAP server. Actually the SOGo server is just an IMAP client to Dovecot. Works pretty smooth. I have 3 Servers available 1)Database-Server 2)Web-Server 3)Mail-Server Al Servers running CentOS in the current version. The Database Server is running MariaDB and Postgresql, the Webserver is running nginx with php-fpm, the Mail-Server is a minimal setup of CentOS 7. I want to install SOGo in a way that the DB is hold on the Database Server, the Website is delivered through the Webserver and the rest is running on the Email-Server. Is that kind of setup even possible and is there a documentation about that? Since I found no documentation about this setup on the internet I started with the installation of the nightly build rpm package on the email server. I noticed that apache got installed as requirement, but I do not want an apache running on the Email-server that’s what the Webserver is for.
