[SOGo] how-to get addresses from android into sogo
hello, is there a recipe on how to get address-cards from an existing android-AB into sogo? I have the task of transferring an existent android-AB (HTC) phone, to sogo. since all the addresses are in the system adr-book on the htc, the question is, which is the most reliable way to bring them into the sogo-AB. via ldif/vcards? 1. is there an export adr-card function for android? 2. is there a export prg. for windows or preferable linux? 3. is it possible to transfer the internal adr.book-files from android (location?) to linux and extract the cards there? (like a DCIM dir. for photos) 4. any other way? we have a windows system and I'm a linux sysadmin but don't have an extra HTC-android device to play. on the WS-client side we use tunderbird with sogo-integrator/connector. on android the dmfs carddav stack. since this is probably a reoccurring task, one might already have a solution to this. can anyone please shed some light on this? TIA & have wonderful 2013 guenter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
[SOGo] how to pin main adr-book on iPhone?
hi, I have the following szenario: TB/connector 10.0.3 SOGO 2.0.2a-1 iPhone 4.3.3 since TB adds new email-adr. to an address-book, I created a second AB purely for that reason. it is automatically synced to iPhone. since then, every new address-entry I create on the iPhone is created in that AB, and not in my main (first) one. does anybody can point me into a direction, of how to change the setup, that the main/first AB is used for that? or is there a way to turn the syncing of the second AB to the iPhone off? [SOGo] sogo overwrites newer vcard on device
hi, I experienced that sogo syncs an older vcard, which just had an email-record, on the server/TB over an newer, which is more complete and recently changed on an iPhone. had anybody the same issues? sogo 2.0.2a-1 sogo-connector & integrator 10.0.1 greetings, günter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists

[SOGo] openPSA integration (midgard-project.org)
hi, since sogo is a great middleware, is there a integration to a CMS/project-mgmt like openPSA (midgard-project framework) or something similar? from the featurelist, openPSA can handle projects, invoices, tasks, address-book, etc. it would be nice to have an integration into sogo. what would be necessary to achieve this TIA guenter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
Re: [SOGo] address book export as vcard
hi, just half a hour ago, I found the following link. http://wiki.mhcsoftware.de/Thunderbird_Addons_of_interest next to usefull sogo documentation, there are a lot of usefull tools (at least, they sound like) ;) haven't tested it, but MoreFunctionsForAddressBook: https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/morecols-en.html seems to do the job. günter Am Montag, 16. [SOGo] ZEG 1.3.7a: sogo-integrator: pictures in addressbook-sync problem
hi, addressbook sync from apple macosx-addr.book to sogo 1.3.7a workes now. one can see and edit contacts with pictures without getting the pictures deleted - via web. using the TB-integrator does not sync all pictures from cardDav. the one which are synced show only in preview, not in detail. after saving the contact, pic. is gone! I've added to bug 1277. is there a workaround? at the moment it's THE showstopper. on other hand, 1.3.7a fixed a couple of other prblms. with calender syncing, remindertimes and start-times with TB/lightning. thx a lot for this! cheers günter -- users@sogo.nu https://inverse.ca/sogo/lists
