I have used it in the past - syncevolution provides a caldav sync - so
you can set up evolution as a caldav client to sogo.

Ubuntu 11.10 will replace evolution with thunderbird!

Not like Thunderbird, you should configure calendar by calendar and 
address book by address book as documented.

Ubuntu 11.10 will replace evolution with thunderbird!
