As was said earlier on this list, exceptions are not sufficient for
installing add-ons or plug-ins.
You always have to add the certificate of the CA to your certificate
store in Thunderbird first.

Just for fun, I tried using http from updates.php and it worked.

It has me stumped as to why, since I have certificate exceptions.

Thank you for your insight Vladas.

Sorry for the top post, but I better not mix it up.

I have already taken care of that. I have added exemptions for my local HTTPS
certificate, and I can see that the SOGo Integrator is indeed talking to the
web server by the logs.

Another problem is the sync with addon and server.
I don't know what happen if addons are updated by mozilla's servers and
sogo server rameins an old version.

What developers think about?

[SOGo] Integrator 10.0

2012-03-07 Thread Michael Leitner
Hello,

When installing SOGo Integrator 10.0 on one of our Clients running
Thunderbird 10.0.2esr, it successfully gets the SOGo Connector 10.0 from
our update server.
However, we want Integrator to get the Lightning 1.2.1 Plugin from the
Mozilla Update Server aswell.

Can Integrator 10.0 be modified to do that? If so, how?

Thanks.
