I found one answer to my problem:
I use Cyanogenmod / SlimKAT on my mobile phone, which includes a
PrivacyGuard.
The Default seems to be not to allow modifications on the contacts and
calendar entries. Unfortunately, the App (CalDAV-Sync, CardDAV-Sync
Beta) doesn't report problems with writing contacts. It just starts
again - and this explains why all the content got requested over and
over again.

But my other question - what are the fields of the logfile, is there
any description for it? I haven't found anything in the manual

Greetings,

Hanno

[SOGo] Synching with Android: sync never ends

2014-12-07 Thread Hanno 'Rince' Wagner

Good morning,

I have a SOGo Version 2.2.10 running on a Debian System (8.0). I have
some addressbooks and calendars and are sharing them with some people.
I use nginx as webserver.
SOGo works fine with the GUI via webclient. I can have multiple
calendars and can share them with some people, I can have my address
books and this is fine.
I used to have an Nexus 4 Android phone and synched my calendars and
addressbooks with it just fine.

Now I have a new mobile phone (my old one broke down), an Android once
again and I use CalDAV and CardDAV to sync between SOGo and my mobile.
Unfortunately, now the syncs don't work and I can not see why.

I see the request reaches SOGo and it gets processed, but the sync of
my address books never stops, it never ends. I see the same requests
over and over coming to SOGo, at least if I interpret the sogo.log
correctly.
When I try to sync calendars, the sync is finished but my calendar-app
doesn't show any calendars, even when the caldav-sync asked me to
choose wether I want only my calendar or also the shared ones - so the
communication seems to work at some point.

In the sogo.log I see the following (I am user rince, this goes
through a reverse proxy, therefore the client-IP is 127.0.0.1 everytime):

As you can see, the requests repeat every few seconds. But why? And
what do the numbers like 153074/4028 mean? What does the number with
the percent-sign mean? Is there a way to see what is going wrong there?

Thank you for your help,

Hanno
