[SOGo] Vacation notice

2017-03-17 Thread Gerald Brandt
I have users that sometimes forget to set their vacation notices, and
then try to set it on the first day of their vacation.

The web interface will not let you use todays date (or a past date) for
the notification start. The soonest the start data can be set is for
tomorrow.

Is there a reason for this limitation?

Gerald

Why would you set the start for yesterday or even earlier?
You can not send auto replies for the emails you got already with sieve.

But you are right, it should be possible to set start for today or "now".

You can open a bug report for that at https://sogo.nu/bugs/

Isn't it possible if you just leave "Enable autoreply on..." unchecked ?
I've always thought that will enable vaction immediately...

Setting an "immediate Vacation script" by leaving out the "Enable
autoreply on..." used to work in our SOGo instance but it's not working
anymore.
I'm interresting to check if it's working for you and your SOGo version.
Mine is 3.2.6a.

Thibault
