No, but you can move all events you like to a new calendar and share that.

You can also move all tasks to a new calendar and use the original
calendar for events only.
With this approach you can switch visibility of tasks as you like in
every client.

You could also change the privacy of your tasks (say, Private) and remove all 
access rights to private events/tasks for this calendar.

yeah nice thats the solution in was looking for, i always forget that it 
is possible to classify the events. thank you

is it possible to only subscribe to events in a remote kalender an not 
to the events stored in it?
i know it should be a client feature to hide tasks but its currently not 
implemented in thunderbird and a events only caldav url would be 
nice-to-have.
