how to move user_prefs path

Dear All

I have ovserved that iostat on one of my servers running spamassassin
is aprox 12% and when i moved $Home/.spamassassin to somewhere else it
comes down to 2%. I would like to know where can i change the path to
/somehere/.spamassassin ??

OR How do i change the userstate_dir path to
/something_else/.spamassassin in place of /$USER_DIR/.spamassassin.

Spamassassin: Best Practices

I am a newbie on spamassassin and would like to know..

1) How can we train the spamassassin using bayesian to FILTER ALL
OUTGOING AS WELL AS INCOMING messages from my server.

2) Some really Best Practices for implementing and running Spamassassin.

Kill spamd spawns new processes

Hi,
Today I updated spamassassin from 2.63 to 3.01 on a linux machine. My 
init script does not work anymore because when I kill spamd it creates 
five new processes. So, I cannot start the daemon again.Any help is 
appreciated. Here is the info.
