I’m trying it but I get Perl warnings if I restart spamassassin:

By the way is this plugin necessary if you are using postfix/postscreen
with your DQS key?

Yes, I was contaced by a key account manager of Spamhaus. I got a free
datafeed query service key.

Maybe you could contact Spamhaus to tell them about your problems?

Not that I am aware of :) The infrastructure keeps consolidating

referring to ?

Andreas M. Kirchwitz wrote in de.admin.net-abuse.mail (good old Usenet

(or most) Hetzner customers couldn’t contact the spamhaus DNS servers
anymore. This started in December.

I see the problems as well in my postfix logs (I’m a Hetzner customer as
well):

warning: dnsblog_query: lookup error for DNS query
36.142.70.194.zen.spamhaus.org: Host or domain name not found. Name service
error for name=36.142.70.194.zen.spamhaus.org type=A: Host not found, try again

If I trace the DNS traffic I see that there are no DNS responses (IPv4
and IPv6).

Many greetings,

That did it.

Thank You!

Hostname in X-Spam-Checker-Version Header

2009-03-17 Thread netz-haut - stephan seitz
Hi there,

as shown in the manual, the X-Spam-Checker-Version header is not configurable
for some reason. Is there some configuration magic to change just the hostname
of this header? We're running a bunch of multi-homed mail servers and I just
want to glue the shown name to the "official" hostname, which is also located
locally (just another interface in the same hosts).

Thanks in advance,

Stephan
