You *do* read it, you just read it via GMANE, instead of via a mail reader. Some of us don't like to have our inboxes bombarded with mailing lists, or prefer not to filter mailing lists to specific mailboxes but instead isolate mailing list reading to a more comfortable medium which allows us the ability to reply occasionally. > > The second search result is the relevant one: > > > > You can do the equivalent (to turn off delivery) by un-subscribing > > from the user's list and subscribing to > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] . OP would like not to receive the mail in the first place. The second search result is the relevant one: You can do the equivalent (to turn off delivery) by un-subscribing from the user's list and subscribing to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . -- Bowie

The thread in the search url is about filtering mail once it is received. OP would like not to receive the mail in the first place.

Or maybe I forgot the exact address. You see it isn't documented anywhere, so we GMANE.ORG etc. readers have to ask the same question each time: "how to post but not get bombarded?" I even dug into to the ezmlm source code site for several hours only to find that it just says "easy, just unsubscribe" if you want mailman style "nomail" settings.
