Re: sa-update channel list
No wonder, the version I had Jan 15 09:39:29.620 [6248] dbg: dns: 0.4.3.updates.spamassassin.org => 3.4 1230922, parsed as 3 Jan 15 09:39:29.620 [6248] dbg: channel: current version is 1195375, new version is 3, skipping channel Now after updating from SVN it gives Jan 15 09:45:34.588 [15283] dbg: dns: 0.4.3.updates.spamassassin.org => 1230922, parsed as 1230922 Jan 15 09:45:34.588 [15283] dbg: channel: current version is 1230922, new version is 1230922, skipping channel OK, thanks.

I don't remember what that update was for, but versions prior to 3.3.0 stopped getting regular updates in 2008. -- "Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit upon his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats." - Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956) http://www.ChaosReigns.com

sa-update channel list
Hello, I'm using SpamAssassin for years now to get rid of spam. Now I wonder which sa-update channels you're using by default to improve your scan results. Are you sticking to the default 'updates.spamassassin.org' channel only or would you recommend to use other channels too. Unfortunately the SARE and OpenProtect rule sets are not updated any more. Thanks Juergen -- Mail: juer...@eisfair.org
