Re: Problem in reading the Subversion directory - Please help
I don't see any obvious oversights. Check your Apache log files to see what's in the error log. Eric. Assertion failed
Hi, I did a search of the archives, but the assert on this line doesn't seem to be mentioned so far. (BTW: Has anyone considered setting up an automatic parser for these messages?) --- Subversion Exception! --- Subversion encountered a serious problem. Please take the time to report this on the Subversion mailing list with as much information as possible about what you were trying to do. But please first search the mailing list archives for the error message to avoid reporting the same problem repeatedly. You can find the mailing list archives at http://subversion.apache.org/mailing-lists.html Subversion reported the following (you can copy the content of this dialog to the clipboard using Ctrl-C): In file 'D:\Development\SVN\Releases\TortoiseSVN-1.9.2\ext\subversion\subversion\lib svn_client\cleanup.c' line 227: assertion failed (svn_dirent_is_absolute(dir_abspath)) --- OK We are using TortoiseSVN to a svnserve server built from the 1.9 sources connected over a LAN. We were trying an initial checkout, which stopped with a hanging Windows Explorer, so we rebooted the machine. The cleanup failed with this error. Cheers, Jens P.S.: I'm not subscribed to the list, so please CC me on any response.
Problem in reading the Subversion directory - Please help
Hi Team, I have installed SVN in my linux box and I am using version 1.6.11 (r934486) of SVN and I am facing some problem with the configuration. I have created one repository named as KH and earlier i have given the read all access in auth file - like this [groups] support_rw = ranjeet, rahul, monika, devesh [KH:/] * = r @support_rw = rw and now I wanted to delete remove everyone to read this directory so i did this [KH:/] * = @support_rw = rw And now i am not able to login into my directory. I have read some articles about it. I have also checked my subversion.conf file in subversion and it is like this only: LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/mod_dav_svn.so LoadModule dav_svn_module modules/mod_dav_svn.so LoadModule authz_svn_module modules/mod_authz_svn.so DAV svn SVNParentPath /var/www/svnRepos/KnowHow # Limit write permission to list of valid users. # Require SSL connection for password protection. # SSLRequireSSL AuthType Basic AuthName "Authorization Realm for KH repository" AuthUserFile /etc/httpd/svn-conf.d/svn-auth-conf-KH AuthzSVNAccessFile /etc/httpd/svn-conf.d/svn-acl-conf-KH Require valid-user Now i am unable to login into my repository. I am getting this error: "server sent unexpected return value (403 Forbidden)" Please can you help me in this. Thanks Ranjit Singh Saluja Ph: +91-8826157712
