[T5] is there any way to use actionlink to call submit from outside of FORM?
hi, i have an actionlink outside the form. like below t:actionlink t:id=toolbarSave t:zone=zoneFormView img src=images/saveRecord16.png //t:actionlink form ... input type=submit t:type=submit value=submit /form and, is there any way to call from actionlink to call submit from the FORM? thank you. You can either submit the form, or follow the actionlink. If you want the
action to be performed when the form is submitted then add the
functionality/method call to one of the form event handlers.
Then you can use prototype's Event to watch for a click on the link and
submit the form.

Event.observe('toolbarSave', 'click', function()

I didn't run this, so you might need to play with it to make it work.
