I changed my @EventListener like that: @EventListener( targets = formField1, events = onchange, async=true, autoSubmit=false) And it submits the form, although I added autoSubmit=false. I think I'll need some time to get used to it... A. I did, but it's not the most ideal one. I removed the listener from the form altogether and bound it to the submit button.
