Not quite sure what you're asking, but if it's history you want ... You might have first heard about it at OnJava. Earliest article is 2001: http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2001/11/21/tapestry.html Tapestry 4 & 3 were released via Apache. Tapestry 2 was released via SourceForge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/tapestry/ Tapestry 1 was developed (I presume) in house by Howard at Primix.
