[xwiki-users] [ANN] XWiki User Map - Please add yourself!

2014-02-07 Thread vinc...@massol.net
Hi XWiki users,

We’re trying to create a user map of all XWiki users. There are 2 nice effects
from this:

1) Increase the feeling of a community
2) Find out other XWiki users close to where you are. The next step will be to
organize some XWiki User Group in places where there’s a cluster of xwiki users!

Please join the xwiki community by adding yourself to:
https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=210331808187331529022.0004f02bd076d94db85c6msa=0

Thanks a lot

Re: [xwiki-users] Is it possible to create child pages of a page?

2014-02-07 Thread Christophe Domas
The perfect solution should allow us to use the tree from
root/xwiki/bin/view/Main/AllDocs?view=tree in our wiki pages with the
possibility to specifiy the root node to display (curent page by default)
and if we want the tree expended or not.

I don't know if is possible or not.

If not, the hierarchy macro is a good start but we cannot specify the root
node.
That's why I used a custom macro given by zzeroo in How can I display a
subtree with hierarchy macro. I've named it {{subtree/}} and use it in all
pages that are only created as container.

Regards,

Christophe

  By the way, I think that it is a must to have in standard macros of

 I agree.

   Thanks. That works great. However, I still see all of the documents in
 the
   space using the default Documents in space xxx.

   Is there another Gadget (or modify a parameter of this gadget, or
   something else) that will only display the child pages of this space?
 Then
   when I go to that page can I see the list of child pages of it?

   Thanks,

 How about using the FullCalendar Application

Or, as we are at it (shameless plug):
 http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/MoccaCalendar
... which however stores events as single pages, too, and has the
very problem with page names Matthias originally mentioned.
However I am currently working on a fix and hope to release that soon.

Then I can understand the wish to have the event objects attached to a page;
after all a single page can (in principle) hold as many events as one wants to,
and there is no need to give then unique names.

 I remember the original calendar app does exactly this:
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Calendar+Application

Matthias: maybe this does just what you want?

[xwiki-users] Translating from velocity to Groovy

2014-02-07 Thread Danilo Amaral de Oliveira
Hello People,

I am trying to translate the script below from velocity to groovy, but I am not
getting success in the map variable translation, when I try to define more
than 1 value in variable I get error. I will need it because I am passing
information to a template email.
Velocity
  #set($map= {'document':$xwiki.getDocument(),
'url':xwiki.getDocument().getExternalURL()})
  #set($discard =
$xwiki.mailsender.sendMessageFromTemplate($defaultMail, $recipients,
$xwiki.null, $xwiki.null, pt_BR, PublicationWorkflow.MailTemplate : Refus de
publication, $map))

My groovy
   def map = xwiki.null
   def result =
xwiki.mailsender.sendMessageFromTemplate(${sender},
danilo.olive...@energisa.com.br, emailcc, emailbcc, pt_BR, MailTemplate :
Aviso de Publicacao Topico, map)

It will be part of a script to advice the wiki users that a topic was created
in their forum.

Anyone can help?

Thank you!
