[xwiki-users] livetable with static table(like in Table Sorter)

2014-02-21 Thread Leonardo Kodato
Hi all.
Is it possible to make a livetable with static content like the Table
Sorter extension proposes(
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Table+Sorter)?

Im asking it, because sometimes I just want to order a big static table. I
dont want to create a class and set properties just to make a simple filter
on the content(like in Excel).

I've tried to user the Table Sorter extension, but It seems not to be
working with Xwiki 5.3(maybe because its deprecated).

Thank you =)

Re: [xwiki-users] Fwd: Livetable 2.0 and column name

2014-02-21 Thread Leonardo Kodato
Hi Valica and Vicent.
I'm sorry. Im not used to mailing lists and I thought that this was a place
do comment about everything related to Xwiki. I'm going to post in the
right place.

But I would like to suggest you to continue the development of livetable
2.0 or something like it. Today I'm trying to convince some people at my
work to use Xwiki and just a simple programming language like velocity can
be a big barrier.
Livetable is great tool and that is one of the reasons that people like me
are using Xwiki. The possibility to create a dynamic table with object is
just awesome, but, sadly, the application is too dificult for the non-geek
user.

Let me see if I got it...
 - The best place to put my suggestions about livetable 2.0 would be on
http://design.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Design/LiveTable20Macro
 - While the right place to get help for this application would be on
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Livetable+Macro+2.0
Im a lit bit confused with Jira and Mailing list.

Thank you =)

Re: [xwiki-users] XWiki and LDAP TLS binding

2014-02-21 Thread claude lepere
Hi Thomas.

Thank you for your quick answer.
I'm sure not a LDAP expert but I think it is right to say that LDAP TLS
(using StartTLS) and LDAP SSL offer quite the same security features, but
StartTLS is the successor of LDAP over SSL (LDAPS) and is now recommended.

My question concerns the client certificate: with a server demanding a
client certificate, when I use a simple client such as ldapsearch with
StartTLS, a file ldaprc or .ldaprc containing the directives TLS_CACERTDIR,
TLS_CERT and TLS_KEY that give the path to the certs and the key is
required, but when the client is XWiki I did not find how to give XWiki this
info or where to place such a file.

Can you help me?

Thanks in advance.

[xwiki-users] using embed or iframe to display an external site

2014-02-21 Thread Paul Pinkerton (ACLCO)
I have been trying to use the html macro to be able to use embed or
iframe to display an external site within a wiki page. I have a Prezi,
but want to display it in the context of the wiki page, rather than
linking to it on its own.

I had posted before about having an issue with this, and the reply was
someone who has it working - I used his code (actually the same as mine)
but it still isn't working.

Is there other dependencies, such as in the back end that would affect
this?
Ideas??

Running xwiki 4.2 (cannot upgrade at this time due to custom app...)

Subject: document viewer macro

I have installed the docviewer macro, but it doesn't work! Have others
had success with this?

Similarly, I am having trouble with html iframes displaying. I have
tried viewing these pages in a number of different browers with no
success.

Insight?

Re: [xwiki-users] XWiki and LDAP TLS binding

2014-02-21 Thread Thomas Mortagne
As far as I understand TLS and SSL are the same thing (at least in
LDAP). You can setup which port to connect to using
xwiki.authentication.ldap.port property in xwiki.cfg.

[xwiki-users] XWiki and LDAP TLS binding

2014-02-21 Thread Claude Lepere
Hi!

Does XWiki support LDAP TLS binding (that means a ldap connection on port
389 and not a SSL ldaps connection on port 686) with both server and client
(= XWiki) certificates? If so, how to set up that feature?
Many thanks for your response.

Re: [xwiki-users] Fwd: Livetable 2.0 and column name

2014-02-21 Thread vinc...@massol.net
Hi Leonardo,

I guess you’re referring to
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Livetable+Macro+2.0
Please note that this extension was done by Ludovic Dubost and it’s not a XWiki
Development Team extension, i.e. it’s not supported officially by the XWiki
project.

FTR and to be complete, also note this idea of a new design for the livetable
macro in the future (not existing yet):
http://design.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Design/LiveTable20Macro

This is not the correct place actually since this location is for code
supported by the XWiki dev team.
Since http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Livetable+Macro+2.0
is a contributed extension, the correct place is to comment on that page at the
moment (there’s no JIRA project for it as of now).

Thanks

Re: [xwiki-users] Fwd: Livetable 2.0 and column name

2014-02-21 Thread Ecaterina Moraru (Valica)
Hi,

You can rename the column labels by using Translations. A similar answer to
your problem can be found here
http://extensions.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Extension/Livetable+Macro#HHowdoItranslate22emptyvalue22foundincellsandcolumntitles

Regarding the idea, it's very nice. You could report an improvement on
http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI/component/12041

Thanks,
Caty
