[xwiki-users] Error creating wiki using template

2009-06-15 Thread Henk Schouten
Hello,

I have recently started using the XWiki Manager to manage 2 separate
xwiki instances. While playing around and creating a new wiki I noticed
that I cannot create a new wiki using a template wiki. If I create a new
wiki using exactly the same settings but without a template it works
just fine. I have tried this with XEM 1.6.4 and XEM 1.7. Both have the
same problem. I am using tomcat 5.5.27 and an Oracle 10G database. The
problem apparently has to do with a sequence in the database.

Anyone got an idea what may be causing this?

Thanks,
Henk

[xwiki-users] Live Table "Loading... Page" never ends

2009-06-15 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

Another problem I encounter with my freshly installed XEM 1.7. It seems
that the new component Live Table never finishes loading a page list.
The animated gif and the text "Loading... Page" appears and than nothing
happens and the page seems frozen Again I have seen this problem
both in XEM 1.6.4 and 1.7. I am using tomcat 5.5.27 and Oracle 10G
database. The same problem occurs in the Users and Groups section of the
Administration page, which makes it very hard to setup a new wiki
completely.

Anyone else who has the same problem? Is there a way to fix this?

Henk

[xwiki-users] Contributing to dutch translation

2009-08-13 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

I have a few questions about how to contribute to the dutch
application_resource file.
Yesterday I have added some translations to the dutch translation of the
XE resources
at the I10n.wiki.org site. Is there any documentation about this site? I
am unsure about
what some functions do and the effects they may have on others. For
instance the link
'Import/reimport default language file', Admin actions like 'Import' and
'Prepare'. Also
I noticed that when I get the dutch translation as a application
resource file, it only has
the resources filled in if a dutch translation exists. This seems
logical, but as long as not
all strings have a dutch translation, my xwiki contains lots of empty
strings. Is there a
way to build a resource file with dutch translations where available,
and the default
english strings when not? Another thing that is not clear to me is the
functionality around
reviewing and validation. If I find a translation that is incorrect of I
thing there is a better
one, can I just change it, or should I somehow make a review request to
somebody
authorized to accept or reject the change? Is there any way to know who
is contributing
to the same translation in order to achieve some common ideas about how
to translate
xwiki terms?

Thanks,
Henk

Re: [xwiki-users] trying to make warning macro work in 2.0

2009-08-19 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

In April there was a discussion on the list with this subject. This
discussion ends without a solution. Does anyone know if this problem has
been solved. It seems I am having the same problem here when running
1.9.3 on a Oracle OC4J container.

Thanks,
Henk

[xwiki-users] Using [0-9] pattern in HQL

2008-10-30 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

I have a simple question, although I could not find the answer in the
archives or google.

Is it possible to use a [0-9] pattern in the where clause of a HQL
query. Something like:

where doc.title like '[0-9]%'

Hope someone can help me with this.

Thanks,
Henk

[xwiki-users] Full title in Insert/edit link dialog

2008-11-12 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

I am building a documentation wiki and have hundreds of pages being
generated by scripts.
In generating the pages I have used an existing unique identifier as the
name of the document.
Now when using the Insert/edit link dialog in the Wysiwyg editor, I can
only see the short
name (i.e. the unique identifier). Since this makes it difficult for my
users to recognize which
document to link to, I would prefer to see the title in this dialog. Is
there any way to change
this? Is a velocity template being used for this dialog.

Thanks,
Henk

[xwiki-users] Putting users in seperate space

2008-11-13 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

Ik was wondering if it would be useful to allow userpages (including
XWiki.XWikiUserClass) in another space than the XWiki 'system' space. I
tried this, but logging on only seems to work if users are in the XWiki
space. I would like them to be in a seperate space to allow users to
edit content on their own page and others to comment on them.

Regards,
Henk

[xwiki-users] Who is logged on to my wiki?

2008-12-04 Thread Henk Schouten

Hello,

Is it possible to get all users that are currently logged on to my wiki?
Logged on could also mean having a non-expired session.

I would like to add a panel showing current users.

Thanks,

Henk
