[xwiki-users] forgot password link?

2007-11-24 Thread Josh Joy
Hi,

I tried reading the documentation, though could not locate any help in
regards to a forgot password feature. Does XWiki currently provide such a
feature where if a user forgot their password they have it emailed to them?

Thanks,
Josh

Re: [xwiki-users] search when not logged in

2007-11-24 Thread Josh Joy
Hi Vincent,

I downloaded the latest standalone windows installation, when not logged in
1) Searches for default pages as is works, (ie "wiki")
2) I exported only my pages from my wiki and imported into the standalone
windows installation, searches for these pages work

On my wiki when not logged in
1) searches for terms like "wiki" works
2) searches for the pages I created does not work

I'm thinking at this point I have two options...
1) I could try and port everything from my wiki to a freshly deployed wiki
and start from scratch
2) If there is an easy and quick way, I can try and debug on my wiki what
configuration setting I may have messed up

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks,
Josh

Re: [xwiki-users] search when not logged in

2007-11-24 Thread Josh Joy
I just set all the space rights to exactly the same as a fresh download of
the latest stable xwiki, still no luck. Is there an easy way I can debug
this? Also, looking at the xwiki-dev mailing list, it looks like other users
are experiencing the same issue as well...

Re: [xwiki-users] search when not logged in

2007-11-24 Thread Josh Joy
Thanks Vincent.

I set the "WebSearchCode" Access Rights to "view" for "XWikiGuest", though
still no luck searching if I'm logged out. I can view the pages I'm
searching for if I access directly, though the search result still does not
show the results.

Thanks,
Josh

[xwiki-users] search when not logged in

2007-11-24 Thread Josh Joy
Hi,

If I search when I log in (as Admin), when I search I receive results back.
However, if I log out and repeat the exact same search, the results page is
empty. What can I configure to allow people who have not registered to still
perform searches? I tried setting the space rights to "view" for
"XWikiGuest" for the space "XWiki", though this doesn't appear to work.

Thanks,
Josh

[xwiki-users] Xwiki registration smtp setup

 Hi,

For smtp setup for xwiki registration
(Administration>

Registration ), I see a value for SMTP server, though how do I configure the
authentication settings to be able to login into the smtp server, such as
userid / password?

Thanks in advance,
Josh

Re: [xwiki-users] discussion tab (similar to mediawiki)

2007-10-16 Thread Josh Joy
Thanks Guillaume.

Currently I'm using the default skin Albatross, it seems that I may need
to modify the skin and add a tab for "comments" (discussion). So it
seems more than CSS changes? Unless I'm missing something more simpler?

Thanks,
Josh

Hi,

I would like to have a "discussion" tab, similar to how wikipedia has
one. Is there a configuration option to turn this on? Or a plugin I can
install?

Thanks in advance,

[xwiki-users] New Pages - Tags with multiwords

2007-10-07 Thread Josh Joy
Hi,

When I create a new page, I am given the option to create tags to help
annotate the document. However, my question is, how can I create
multiword tags? For instance, I would like a tag as "San Diego". What
xwiki does is break the tag into separate words, "San" and "Diego". How
can I inform xwiki to use "San Diego"?

Thanks,
Josh

[xwiki-users] Remove content from main tab

2007-09-18 Thread Josh Joy
Hi,

On my "main" side table, I would like to be able to modify exactly what gets
placed in there. Currently, there is a mix of some static links such as
"All Docs"
"Dashboard"
"delete space"

as well as whenever I create a new page those links go there as well. Can
the content for this side table be customizable by me (the admin) ?

Also, I would like to remove the "Sandbox" side table as well.

Thanks,
Josh
