[xwiki-users] Tree view doesn't work

2010-10-22 Thread Loris Conedera
Hi all,
I have a XE 2.4.3 instance running on a Tomcat 6 (JDK 1.6.0) and I'm
experiencing that the Tree view of documents doesn't work.
If I use the link
http://host:8080/xwiki/bin/view/Main/AllDocs?view=tree I get the
page but a Loading data... message is displayed and nothing happens.
Can you help me to figure out a solution?
Thanks,

Loris Conedera

Re: [xwiki-users] Tree view doesn't work

2010-10-22 Thread Loris Conedera
Hi Marius,
I tested it with:

- Firefox 3.5.14
- Internet Explorer 7

and it doesn't work. In Firefox Firebug reports an XML error:

XML interpretation error: no element found Address:-moz nullprincipal:
{34555dbf-81b3-4c8f-86c5-42b548bb0fcc} line number 1, column 1:
^

I also cleaned up the cache of Firefox but the problem persists.
Thanks,

Loirs

What browser (+version) are you using? If you use Firefox with Firebug
enabled are there any JavaScript exceptions logged in the console tab
(maybe some AJAX requests are failing)? Before digging further you
should clean your browser cache to be sure you're using the correct
 JavaScript code.

 Hope this helps,
 Marius

 Hi,

Not sure if this is a server side or client side error.
What servlet container are you using? Can you check the errors reported to
 stdout?
I would also need to know what error does XWord display. XWord stores more
detailed error messages in the windows logging system. You can check that
 using event viewer.

[xwiki-users] Problems importing 1.4 default XAR

I have some problems importing the 1.4 default XAR. I just upgraded
Xwiki to 1.4 Release and all seems to work fine, the problem is that

 Loris,

In WinZip check if the XAR contains an empty file - if so delete it and
reattach the XAR and click on the link again. If that doesn't fix it then I
don't know what could be the problem. So I hope it works!

 Hi,

You might want to check inside your generated .xar archive that there
are no empty (0 size) documents. It can be due to problem during .xar

This used to make the import process fail in older versions, I don't

[xwiki-users] New User Interface

2008-01-22 Thread Loris Conedera
Hi,
I have a problem upgrading Xwiki at release 1.2 from 1.1.2.
I can't get the new rights Management interface.

After restarting Tomcat I imported the new XAR. When I try to open Global

[xwiki-users] xwikiApacheGeronimo

2007-10-10 Thread Loris Conedera
Hi,
I succesfully installed xwiki on Tomcat using MySQL as database server. Now
I must install xwiki on Geronimo but after application deploy and
hibernate.cfg.xml configuration i get an error on the
/xwiki/bin/view/Main/WebHome. The error seems due to database problems and
I was able to reproduce it on tomcat removing the mysql-connector or
inserting a wrong password in the hibernate.cfg.xml.
Is someone using Apache Geronimo or Websphere Community Edition with xwiki?
I found a document that describe an installation of the previous version of
xwiki on the previous version of Geronimo but it doesn't work on the new
release.

 Hi,
did you rename xwiki-web-standard-1.1.1-war into xwiki.war and put it
in the WEBAPPS directory of Tomcat or just uncompressed the war file in
 the
directory xwiki under ROOT directory? I mean - it was enough to place
 the
xwiki.war under the WEBAPPS of Tomcat. On restart Tomcat automatically
 will
uncompress the war file and create a new directory xwiki; xwiki.war should
remain in the webapps directory (don't delete it!), otherwise it will not
 work.
