*Length:6-12 months+* *Job Description:* *THE POSITION: Senior Systems Analyst Cognos TM1* The Senior Systems Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and ongoing maintenance and support of Cognos TM1 applications. This position will participate in SDLC activities including business requirements gathering, solution design, software development, unit testing and support. The senior analyst is expected to understand the business at a detail level and leverage this knowledge to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions. Responsibilities: Convert business requirements into solution design and lead the development, implementation and support of software solutions to meet customer needs Work with business users to gather and document detailed business requirements Collaborate with team members, business users and solution architects to design working solutions Participate and provide input for development and integration standards and mentor analysts Contribute to requirement and design reviews with business partners and other members of IT Investigate new technologies and techniques and adapt to business requirements Results oriented with ability to manage multiple projects Review and identify areas for automation within the TM1 applications and improvements in business processes. Provide solutions to eliminate inefficiencies.
