*Job Description:*

·         The Global Claims Initiative (GCI) program is designed to
transform and optimize Client claims operations around the world. The
primary responsibility of this position is to design and develop business
applications using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.

·         Responsible for designing and implementing business applications
using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks. Provides architecture and design
guidance to project teams developing BPM/BRE solutions using Pega

·         Work with the middleware / DBA team to build the necessary
infrastructure components through each phase of the project, development
through production

·         Design and implement integrations with different systems, ensure
the design is fit for purpose

·         Develop staff expertise and skills in the Pega PRPC and related
methodologies and practices

·         Create and execute project work plans/schedules

·         Evaluate business requirements to implement the optimal technical
solution

·         Support Integrated Testing, Quality Control and User Acceptance
activities



*Job requirements:*

·         2 + years IT experience in analysis, development, implementation
and support of business applications using Pega/PRPC

·         Min 3 years of J2EE/JEE development experience is preferred

·         Proficient in BPM, Java, JEE, Web Services, XML

·         Experience in Integration of Pega applications to other
technologies using SQL, MQ, JMS, File Service, LDAP, DB2/Mainframe and
Oracle.

·         Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities,
User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, Single-Sign-On,
External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ),
Connectors and SOAP Services etc.

·         Experience in full PRPC implementation cycle including enterprise
Class Structure design and Rulesets design

·         Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with application
quality, coding, UI and Corporate standards, including review alert logs,
running pre-flight and PAL.

·         Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture / design / coding

·         Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

·         Ability to work and communicate effectively with programmers and
other IT staff and non-IT functional areas

·         Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
environment

·         Knowledge of RDBMS, preferably DB2

·         Familiarity with data network architecture, operation and support

·         Strong MS Office skills

·         Strong communication, problem-solving and leadership skills

·         Understanding of Insurance claims business processes preferred

·         Experience in Pega Frameworks is preferred

·         Possess a broad understanding of company business issues and
concepts and their interaction with complex information systems applications

·         Well-versed in code version control, including branching and
merging
