Applications are integrated to present a unified “Enterprise View” of operational data from multiple disparate systems (both internal and external). ODE Enterprise Data Stores can be queried to provide on-demand operational data and include both current and historical scope. A successful software developer in ODE will have extensive experience and knowledge in building long-running, distributed, fault-tolerant backend systems. Most applications are written in C#. *Candidates should have extensive experience and knowledge of: * .NET, C#, Windows, XML, XSD, XSLT, and SQL. Proficiencies should also include experience of Oracle databases, TIBCO EMS, TIBCO BW, TIBCO RV, .NET XML and DbDataAdapter classes, and data caching products (like ObjectStore or Oracle Coherence). *7+ years’ experience* • Responsible for leading team efforts, delegating tasks, following up on progress of team and coaching junior team members as assigned. • Transform business requirements into an application architecture that is compliant with Delta enterprise standards. • Create application architectures that serve as frameworks for future applications. • Develop appropriate software and documentation according to standards. • Architect small applications • Support and troubleshoot computer systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow up on all problems. • Follow standards and methodologies in the development and implementation of computer software. *May perform other duties as assigned. *Basic Entry Requirements:* • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training in the computer systems development field.
