 Top tier investment bank is seeking a senior .Net Developer to support
strategic Liquidity Program projects sponsored by Global Treasury to
enhance Client's liquidity reporting and monitoring processes, and ensure
compliance with regulatory obligations. The primary responsibility for this
role is to support the delivery of a new strategic and streamlined
liquidity tools requested by Global Treasury to reduce current support
costs, improve operational efficiencies, and enhance existing
functionality. The tool will be implemented using the Scrum methodology and
developed by Treasury IT teams in New York and Warsaw with consultation
from the Treasury IT teams in Zurich and London.



The position will report to the Treasury IT project lead based in New York.
An opportunity to work closely with global teams on a key strategic project
for the bank's CFO division is available through this role, and strong
collaborative skills will be expected from the high-performing candidates
we are interested in seeking.



Major Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

.    Analyze functional requirements and quickly design/implement technical
solutions

.    Provide application development for the delivery of technical
solutions required by business users from Global Treasury

.    Develop software architecture documents and test cases based on
business requirements

.    Coordinate test execution and resolution of technical issues
identified during test phases

.    Provide technical support for the use of new functionality and tools
deployed to production environment



Required Experience:

.    4+ years' experience as a technical developer, including extensive
application development and support experience

.    Experience implementing large-scale projects from design through
production phases, preferably in the Financial Services industry



Skills:

.    Strong programming skills including application development abilities
using .NET on multiple platforms including MVC; Oracle/SQL knowledge also
strongly preferred. Knowledge of Informatica ETL tools a plus but not
required.

.    Demonstrated abilities for drafting detailed technical designs and
test cases from functional specifications

.    Experience working with source control tools (Subversion, Source Safe,
etc)

.    Experience working in UNIX environment. Exposure to batch scheduling
packages such as Control-M also desired but not necessary

.    Working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel

.    Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and test
driven-development

.    Strong problem solving skills

.    Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

.    Ability to interact with technical and functional staff at all levels,
and across multiple regions

.    Ability to manage timelines while working on deliverables for multiple
projects and/or phases

.    Ability to demonstrate self-initiative as well as take direction and
escalate issues as appropriate

.    (Desired): Familiarity with liquidity risk reporting and management
functions; familiarity with bank products



Education:

.    Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science
or related discipline, or comparable industry experience
