Computer Science or related field · Knowledge of PHP · Knowledge of relational databases and SQL, preferably PostgreSQL · Knowledge of web technologies: XHTML, JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX · Knowledge of SOAP · Knowledge of OO design · Knowledge and practical use of Continuous Integration · Knowledge and practical use of Test Driven Development · Knowledge and practical use of design patterns. *Skills: *· Business knowledge of the Mortgage / Appraisal industry. (Nice to have) · DBA knowledge. · SysAdmin in a Linux environment. · Ability to understand, integrate and implement new technology quickly into functioning business solutions. · Facilitate white board discussions involving system, component and module design that include both technical and non-technical participants · Quick to grasp business concepts and ideas and translate them to practical technical solutions that solve short term tactical and long term strategic needs. · Solid OO design knowledge and the ability to implement those designs into functioning and supportable results. · Experience with various development languages. · Practical understanding and use of UML. · Experience with the LAMP stack. · Experience with agile develop methodologies with focus on test driven development, refactoring, and continuous builds. · Implementation and use of 3rd party frameworks.
