We'll remove the ACPI option from the GUI in the next release.  
However, the IOAPIC option is still important as enabling it can cause  
a significant overhead on older Intel CPUs and all AMD CPUs for 32bit  
guests. We've addressed the overhead on most cases but there are still  
reasons why you want to disable it.

really annoying issue for P2V VMs.


I was just curious how VMware/VPC deal with them  without providing  
such options?

Any chance to remove them? and vbox does some kind of automatic check?
