Hi, when will the domain quota feature back to vpopmail?

Thanks.

Probably never. It is too resource intensive.
I recommend using operating system user quotas.
Place each domain under a different user and let
the file system handle the quota.

This is also helpful if you host the web site
and email. Then you can impose an overall
disk space quota per account.

Hi, any doc or guidelines to do it?

thanks.

[vchkpw] enable-many-domains vpopmail-5.4.8/5.4.13 ( Without MySQL )

2006-03-15 Thread Sim
Hello!

I have two servers with Vpopmail.

One with 5.4.8 version ( without MySQL ) and one with new 5.4.13
version ( without MySQL )

Old version have 0/1/2/.. for /home/vpopmail/domains structure, but
new use only one folder.

Configure options are equal and this are theirs config.log :

configure:6607: checking whether many-domains is enabled
  and
configure:6657: checking whether many-domains is enabled

In old server I can see 100 domain for folder (0/1..).
In new server I can see more than 150 domains. into only one folder.

Why?

Is it correct?

Thanks!

[vchkpw] converting one domain to another

2006-03-15 Thread Clint Byrum
We changed our name, from CareerCast Inc., to Adicio, Inc. about a year
ago.

At that time I created adicio.com as an alias domain of careercast.com.
But now I'd like adicio.com to be the real domain, and careercast.com to
be the alias.

I'm using vpopmail 5.4.10 (from qmail-toaster) with mysql storage for
everything except forwards.

I was thinking I could just update the mysql tables directly, but I
wanted to get some advice from the community. I wasn't able to find
anything in the documentation on this particular issue.

Thanks!
