Re: [vchkpw] Can Vpopmail set QUOTA for a domain instead of user account?
You should compile vpopmail with --enable-domainquotas=y Then, put the below in .qmailadmin-limits quota 300 # this is for 300MB quota Regards, Yee --- Ahmad Masood Shah <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > if you are using vpopmail with qmailadmin then > create a file in required domains folder with name > > .qmailadmin-limits > > maxpopaccounts: 10 > maxaliases: 10 > maxforwards: 10 > maxautoresponders: 10 > maxmailinglists: 0 > default_quota: 2000(This is > what u need for domain quota) > > > -- > > Best Regs, > Masood Ahmad Shah > System Administrator > > ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ > | * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * > | Fibre Net (Pvt) Ltd. [vchkpw] vpasswd file is 0 size when hit quota limit
Hi, I had set the following for a domain as below:- vadddomain -u user1 user1.com password Then, I set the quota using the command:- edquota user1 With the following information inside edquota:- Disk quotas for user user1 (uid 519): Filesystem blocks soft hard inodes soft hard /dev/md0 80 83886 8388642400 Now the disk quotas grow, here is what I have:- Disk quotas for user user1 (uid 519): Filesystem blocks soft hard inodes soft hard /dev/md0 84810 83886 8388642400 And, I notice that all the users in the domain user1.com can't login via POP3 service to check email. Even can't received email via SMTP service. I notice that the vpasswd file is now 0 bytes. The vpasswd.cdb is 2048 bytes. When I try to view the vpasswd file, nothing is inside the file. How can I recover the vpasswd file from the vpasswd.cdb? Can it be recover? Is the way I do quota correct? Any suggestion? How can I use warnquota to help me on this? Thank you.
