Re: [vdr] Fix Pid not available error in the streamdev plugin VDR-VDR connection
On Sat, 15 Dec 2007 15:48:21 +0100, Jose Alberto Reguero wrote This patch fix the error Pid xxx not available in the streamdev plugin with VDR-VDR connection, that cause not tunning to the channel. The problem is that sometimes, when cConnectionVTP::CmdADDP is called, m_LiveStreamer is NULL, and then return an errorr. m_LiveStreamer became null in cConnectionVTP::CmdABRT that is called from cStreamdevDevice::CloseDvrInt called from cStreamdevDevice::CloseDvr. Guess you refer to this problem: http://www.vdr-developer.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=255 I finally commited a workaround to CVS last week. The problem is caused by VDR 1.5.x clients, so I'd rather see this fixed on the client side. But thanks for your efforts nevertheless! I added a reference to your posting in the bugreport. [vdr] Subtitles - 1.5.11
Hi! I tried start using vdr 1.5.11, but still I have problems with subtitles. Can't see them. When I arrive to channel where subtitles exists, OSD tell me that subtitles present. I can use my User5 key to get list of available titles. But nothing comes to screen. What is missing? Or do I have something too much? I have compiled (gentoo system) vdr with next flags: cmdsubmenu cutterlimit cutterqueue cuttime ddepgentry dolbyinrec dvbplayer dvbsetup dvdarchive dvdchapjump dvlfriendlyfnames dvlrecscriptaddon dvlvidprefer graphtft hardlinkcutter iptv jumpplay liemikuutio livebuffer mainmenuhooks menuorg osdmaxitems sortrecords sourcecaps submenu syncearly timercmd timerinfo wareagleicon yaepg -debug -lnbshare -noepg -pinplugin -rotor -settime -setup -ttxtsubs -validinput -vanilla -- JJussi ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

I cannot help you with your problem as such, but you should definitely test the latest developer version _always_ before asking help on the mailing list. Especially now that almost all fixes in each of the new versions have been related to the subtitling support. -Petri ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr
Re: [vdr] No buttons in EnigmaNG
2007/12/17, Anders Sandell [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Hi all, This is probably a pretty lame question, but anyway… I have installed VDR 1.5.11 on my redhat box with two Hauppauge Nexus S installed. I have also installed the EnigmaNG skin (complete with image files) but I cant see any of the red-yellow-green-blue buttons at the bottom of each OSD menu. Any ideas as of what to start with? Me too had this problems and it took me some time to realize I should play with the following settings, to fit OSD in the right way: Menu-Setup-OSD Left Top Width Height Hope it helps -- Carlos Javier Habana, CUBA ___ vdr mailing list vdr@linuxtv.org http://www.linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/vdr

Go to Menu/Settings/OSD, and set a smaller area. EnigmaNG uses more memory than standard skins and your 2MB onboard memory on nexus-s is not enough for this.
